The worst heavy metal songs

This one is for asshat assari, describes him perfectly-

Don't get me started. I love Accept. I saw them open for Ozzy when Jake E. Lee was his guitarist.

I have always loved this interview with Chris Holmes from W.A.S.P. He is wasted off of his ass and his mom looks like a lush.

Back when I wanted to be a rock star, he was my hero LOL

For someone who previously has claimed to hate metal music, assari sure pretends to know a lot.

I think assari likes metal but his limiting beliefs hold him back from listening to it. The good news is we can change our beliefs. A lot of people don't think you can change your beliefs but it's like when one country takes a soldier from another country captive and brainwashes him to agree with them. Jedi mind tricks. So since you can't prove any of this stuff and we have a limited time here and we don't know why were here, who we are or where were going, why not "brainwash" yourself to believe whatever's going to allow you to have the most fun? That's my take on the matter.

Assari seems to have a very narrow view of metal culture. Sure, a lot of bands in the 80's dressed that way, but like I said, I don't consider Hair metal to be true metal (in no way implying that Priest or Maiden were hair bands). Metal includes so many subgenres that don't dress that way at all, and most modern acts consist of dudes just wearing tshirts and jeans. Some bands keep the spikes and leather alive, others wear costumes and masks as part of the theatrical aspect. Just because you can name one example where the lead singer was actually gay doesn't mean that the genre is gay. And while we're on the subject, why do you care if their gay? Halford is revered as one of the greatest metal voices of all time, why would you deprive yourself of his work just because he likes dudes?

I never gave a shit if Rob Halford is gay. And although he wasn't exactly metal, Freddie Mercury and Queen could belt out some of the heaviest riffs when they put their minds to it.

I did wonder about the awkward moments when ( I assume) the straight guys like K.K. Downing and Brian May wanted to pick up hot chicks and Mercury and Halford wanted to take some dude to pound town.

I doubt it was awkward. They're fucking rockstars, they don't do awkward.

1. In the 50s, rock n roll was the devils music too.

That's true.

Parent's thought that it was dangerous phenomenon.

But I have studie this issue and found that early rock and roll music is not invention of satan.

It can be said that words of rock and roll music maybe suggestive, but youngster do not understand such stuff.

There is no matter what I do not know.

What's heavy metal?

Heavy metal was born in the English slums in the late of 1960s and it is combination of blues music, folk music and satanism.

I know what heavy metal is so I'm immune to its effects.

Simple people do not understand it and that is why satan is able to capture them.

I doubt it was awkward. They're fucking rockstars, they don't do awkward.

While I was never a rock star, I played in a band for a few years and I didn't partake in the hallucinogenic extra curricular activities that some of the other band members did.

And because I didn't, some of them thought I would rat them out. I didn't care as long as it didn't affect our gigs. Quite a few awkward moments during those days.

Queen could write some badass riffs at times. There are a few Priest like songs on A Night At the Opera. Now I'm in the mood to listen to that one.

I haven't figured out how to post pics yet and I don't feel like looking for it but I saw a pic of Halford before he came out of the closet posing with a hot blonde babe. She's got her hands on him. I think she was a Penthouse pet. So I don't think it's as hard as you might think to keep that from the other band members. Then again, I know a lot of those bands had some wild back stage parties where they would have sex with groupies in front of each other. Probably, in all the excitement they didn't think anything of it when he disappeared with his secret boyfriend "to go downstairs to get some beer." That's my thought.

Do you buy into every single stereotype? Metal is not macho in my opinion. You're looking at its basic theme extremely one-dimensionally. To me, it's about finding power within yourself and expressing it through aggressive music. Women can do that just as well as men, and to call it either macho or feminine isn't doing it justice. I get the impression that when you think of metal, you just picture Manowar. Sure some bands take it in that direction, but it's foolish to think that it's exclusively for men, or that male listeners are only interested in fucking women and killing things.

Like I said, you have to take a lot of it with a grain of salt and realize that while bands like to explore certain themes, they don't necessarily subscribe to them and live their lives according them. Slayer caught a lot of shit for "Angel of Death", a song about a nazi war criminal who conducted horrible experiments on children in concentration camps. But just because they wrote a song detailing his crimes doesn't mean they condone them. They were just exploring a dark subject through a dark art form. If people don't like it, they don't need to listen to it.

We seem to have a very different view about metal. For me, it is Devil's music. At least most of it. And I've been listening to metal for about 20 years, so I think that I know something about it. And rock too. That doesn't mean that they have to sing about Satan, it means that they rebel against christianity and every other religion that is out there. They sing about individuality.

Oh fuck my poor english.

And I must point out that I mostly listen to music that glorifies Satan, Him, Her, The One. So I know the difference. Ja assari, saatat koko maan häpeään typerillä jutuillasi.
