Down here in south texas not much development around public transportation. there are buses in some cities but none of that "hot girls on the bus all the time" unless you're in south padre island during spring break, it's usually more like old ladies going to their doctor. Plus the cities and towns around here don't seem to have developed with pedestrians in mind.

the bus, for watching the crazies and i don't just mean the ones on the bus...watching the people in miatas cut off a multi-ton vehicle that doesn't brake all that well is always amusing
