i like the bus system where i live.

i'm not actually gettin some on the bus.
its just the busses here are filled with beautiful women of all ages, mostly early twenties and if one sits next to me i usually start a casual conversation, many times get the number, and sometimes get the prize.

here in SF i have to ride MUNI. which fucking sucks. i ride mainly the streetcars (mostly above ground, light rail) since i live 100 yards from the L Taraval line in the sunset district.
i try and keep away from the buses, theyre usually over crowded with smelly annoying people of a certain cultural background. but i wont get into that.
but yea, MUNI is terrible, and only gonna get worse

Had to take the bus to a beerfest a couple years ago. Hm... We have a really good system here, but since I have a car, I refuse to use it. I like the convenience of a car, and love to drive anyway. If I or a friend aren't driving these days, we just take a taxi. Taxi drivers are fuckin' awesome. I enjoy talkin' with 'em after a long night out. Or even goin' to a long night out

Now that public transport is free for many people in the UK including all those of 60 or more the services are much more frequent and they do make a good option for many journeys. To visit my nearest city there's a bus every 15 minutes , it takes you right to the centre and you don't have to find a parking space.For most other journeys public transport isn't suitable.
Its shit now, too many young ruffians & old codgers getting a free ride & clogging up the buses!

I prefer subways.
However, since they don't have a subway in my town, I just made a train out of an old refrigerator box fastened to my bicycle. It is awesome
