If you think porn is too abusive try making your own, then you can make it just the way you like it.
I made my own adult drawings for about 6 years.

It is indeed about perception. But when I for example see Brazzers ads on sites with violent scenes including spitting and choking then I feel as if it must have spread more if the bigger names also put out some of that stuff.but I think that what he sees as the "tone of porn" is just his perception. As a percentage of ALL the porn that is produced globally, does what he is talking about as "ugly porn" really occupy a greater percentage of the total than it did 5 years ago, 10 years ago... 25 years ago??? I'm not even sure how a person would measure such a thing. But I do think that people base their views on perception.

What do y'all think?
They would not be making this type of porn if people are not buying it. Supply and demand.
I know it has been said that it's just a movie, they are acting, many or most of them are probably enjoying it, but I don't like seeing it. It's a turnoff and it's aggravating. Even the slightest bit of light slapping pisses me off. Honestly, even spanking annoys me. I know I'm not alone, but I also know other people like it, obviously, because it still gets made. The issue seems to be that it's becoming more and more common in porn. It's getting difficult to find movies/scenes that do not have that roughness. Sometimes I wonder if that's becoming "the thing to do" across the board.
Unfortunately there are sites out there that trick people into this stuff. Telling that it will be rough but when the scene plays out some really seemed to suffer and never expected the amount of abuse they get then. Which is just sick and should be illegal in my opinion. And it's not about morals but just the law. Making some of them cry can't be compared to the violence in Hollywood movies as some point out. There they are working with stunts and a plot. If someone cries there it's an act. Clearly not in some of those porn movies which as far as I know is illegal (wilfully harming someone else). There are several testimonies out there regarding some producers who don't even care when people started bleeding while being forced.
You're assuming that some of these acts are NOT illegal, when in fact they are (depending on the community). People often assume that the same porn that is legal in L.A. is legal in Charleston, West Virginia - it is not... not necessarily. Outside of using underage performers, whether or not porn is "legal" comes down to the standards of a particular community. The Cambria List is nothing more than a list of acts that was developed by a porn attorney in hopes of keeping his clients out of trouble. But no state AG signed off on it or agreed NOT to prosecute pornographers who abided by it.
I don't buy into the notion that pornographers (the larger ones) trick actors or actresses and force them to perform degrading scenes against their will. She has now turned into a royal flake & quite a weirdo, but at one time I did feel sort of sorry for Cassandra Cruz after seeing some of her Latina Abuse scenes. I wonder if those scenes (and the producer's bragging that the scenes were so harsh that they caused her to retire) contributed to her current weirdness. But anyway, she was over 18, she signed the release, took the money and then allowed herself to be treated (literally) like a dog. She could have said, "take that cock out of my ass", wiped the cum from her nose, mouth and eyes, gotten up off the floor and walked out of the room. But she chose to stay and let herself get roughed up (and yeah, I think she did cry for real). More recently she has admitted that the scenes were extremely degarding, but the male actors were "nice" to her off camera. She is clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm not in favor of creating (yet another) Federal agency to protect stupid people from themselves.
But scat, pissing, blood letting, penetration during bondage and a great many other things ARE illegal in many areas. And when Ed Meese was the AG of the U.S., the DoJ went after many a porn company and distribution house for those types of productions. But with the current volume and the internet, how would the AG of California (or the U.S.) prosecute a Russian porn producer for making rape films outside of Moscow? What does happen (and did happen in my area about a year ago), someone gets their house raided for something else, some sort of porn is found in the residence and then they're charged with possession of obscene materials. Our local cops even arrested a truck driver for having some porn tapes and DVD's in his truck at a rest stop. In Miami, I doubt they would have done anything but make a joke about it. Remember, the government got Max Hardcore mainly because of WHERE his material went, not just because of the material itself. He was found to have violated the standards of that community.
I think it's gotten totally stupid.. I get the fetish sub/dom stuff, but they make the new "reality" porn look like it's an every day thing to walk into a room and start slapping a girl around, ripping her clothes off etc. We all know which companies have been pushing their production in this way.
I haven't.
Our porn we shoot is still 100%, which may piss off some people because we are not trying to be actors, we just turn on the camera and capture real swinger parties, or real encounters... no fake lines, no fake setups..
Glad to hear that there are still people out there that were feeling the way some of us were about this![]()
Very interesting thread. As I have always said, to each their own. If someone wasn't watching it, they wouldn't film it. Because of the internet being global, you can literally access anything anytime anywhere. I am personally appalled by stuff like Max Hardcore but as much as I hate to admit it, that sort of stuff has the right to exist as long as the parties involved consent to it. No matter how you flip it, it's all pornography and as someone said, they know someone who is disgusted by g/g...when I happen to think that g/g is some of the hottest stuff out there. So everyone has different tastes and that, I suppose, is the beauty of it. Do I like some of this degrading shit? Not especially. But I respect that some guys do...although I'd never date them : )
