Indeed, always nice to see some genuinelly good, well mannered and mature adult discussion about the industry.
As noted above, during it's late '70s and early '80s still shot on 35mm hayday, the industry even then had it's quirks, eccentricies and problems as
ANY business of course does. But most certainly, I agree that the business is unfortunately
WAY too damn sleazy an overly-degrading, even more so then is used to me, to appeal to my tastes. It's honestly sometimes a bit too hard to have respect even for some of the ladies who would get themselves into those situations, instead of just opening up they're own tastefully done site & blog and just trying to show off regular tits, muff & ass and tastefully shot photo sets instead of shooting with such modern male primates these days. The '90s shot on VHS hayday of Wicked & Vivid and Annabolic were pretty much the last overly sexy days of what I enjoyed. So online, I mainly look at and save single girl photo shoots (sorry--I'm open minded, but girl-on-girl really doesn't do anything for me, but to each they're own), and older adult film scenes from past decades with the stars in the industry that KNEW how to make love on film.
And I'm glad to see with many of the posts here, as well as the
"So what in porn turns you off?" now legendary thread, that it has indeed become a problem for me and many others. It's basically all a turn-off for me now with the modern dot.com-era boom shoot porn. Way too much talking, salivia, fake moaning, and girls who take on either too many guys or who are still cum-dodgers and yet will take anal with a rubber (seriously: for the love of Christ, what the fuck is that? *shakes head*).
Also, I was recently scanning through the Bloggers who have the free pages on askjolene, and it most certainly HAS effected a lot of young minds. Because I came across this guy's profile, and it REALLY effected me what all he wrote:

Maybe someone can contact askjolene.com, and tell them all that he's wrote, as I believe that gentleman need's mental/psychatric evaluation.
