THE SHIELD on FX

I don't know, never really see alot of her. And when we do see her, its always business, not anything sexy or steamy!

on a side note, I was so caught up with what happened to Lem that I forgot about Dutch's new found womanizing approach after his free lesson in PIMPology:rofl:

Yes lol I was hoping someone else noticed that I wouldnt be surprised if next season we get to see that chicks ass or something. I bet next season dutch will end up fucking her, even though dutchs character doesnt seem like he would do that. That latina chick is a cutie though, the lawyer is sexy too.

I watched Dutch talking to her and I was like wtf then I started laughing when I realized what he was doing. :1orglaugh

it was pretty cool! reminded me of the scene in 40 Year Old Virgin when he's talking to the girl in teh book store!

That busted my gut as well when Dutch started with the pimpology. And I really thought that in the beginning of the show that Forrest W. was going to rape Vic's wife and then threaten to seize the house and assets if she filed any report. I figured that he would use his status and his investigation of Vic to quell any questions of rape that would come forth. I think the only thing that stopped this was when the youngin' came out of her room. I still think he wants a piece of her after Vic did his wife, or ex, or whatever.

I know watching the re-runs on Spike TV now has a different feel after watching the Season 5 finale.
The Strike Team's fraternalism doesn't look the same.
Also I noticed how the show is coming full circle & foreshadowed many of these events.

Yeah, after watching the season finale again, it just seems so brutal what happened to Lem. He says he won't turn against his "family" and it was them who doubted him and it was one of them who killed him.

So how many of you are going to check out "Thief" tommorow night? I figure if it's on FX, and espescially if it's in The Shield's time slot it's woth at least looking in to.

I don't know about you guys, but after watching a few weeks of Thief I want The Shield back really badly. I keep watching hoping it's going to get better, but it just stays drawn out and dull to me.

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Emmy-winning producer-director Scott Brazil, whose television shows included "The Shield" and "Hill Street Blues," has died. He was 50.

Brazil died Monday of respiratory failure due to Lou Gehrig's disease and lyme disease complications, FX Networks spokesman John Solberg said Wednesday.

Brazil was executive producer of "The Shield," the first original drama series on FX Networks, and he directed 11 episodes. Brazil and "Shield" creator and executive producer Shawn Ryan won the 2002 Golden Globe for drama series.

Although his condition had worsened, Brazil used a motorized wheelchair to go about his duties as "The Shield" producer-director, Ryan said.

"He worked (last) Thursday, working to the very last day, talking to the writers, doing casting and prepping our next episode," Ryan said Wednesday. "That's what made all this so stunning for us. We're kind of shocked."

Shooting on the set of "The Shield" continued on schedule Tuesday in tribute to Brazil.

"I think everyone would have felt lost if they went home and had to deal with this and had nothing to do," Ryan said.

"This was really one of the great guys of Hollywood," he added.

Brazil also directed episodes of "Nip/Tuck," "Grey's Anatomy," "CSI: Miami," "NCIS," "JAG," "Nash Bridges" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." He also directed the pilot of "Playmakers" for ESPN.

As a producer on NBC's "Hill Street Blues," Brazil won two Emmys for drama series in 1983 and 1984, and a Golden Globe in 1983 for TV drama series.

Brazil graduated from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School of Journalism and was a member of the Directors Guild and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; daughter Lindsay, 15; son Mark, 11; his father David; his mother Barbara; and brother Griff. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the television academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.

I'm watching the re-runs of season one on Spike right now. I only started watching the show last season, well the season with Glen Close, so I missed the first season initially. They just showed the episode where Dutch catches his serial killer and then breaks down in his car at the end because the guy really nailed his insecurities on the head. I might have a new favorite episode after that. The characters on this show are so much more complex than I realized coming into the series as late as I did....WOW!

Oh man Im suprised u havent been watchin it from the start, man if u ever watch all the other seasons watch this last 1 again because then u know all the background stuff and u are more emotionally hooked then just starting to watch the show recently.

I'm catching up with the seasons by watching the reruns on Spike. I just had a couple of questions. Does Season 2 end with Armadillo getting shanked in the holding pen by that rival dealer? And does Season 3 then begin with a flashback showing the very beginning of the Barn and the Strike team?

Thanks

This pisses me off. Spike say’s they are re-airing previous seasons of the Shield, even Big P13 confirms that. But up here, they don’t air it. It is suppose to air on Fridays at 10. I set my VCR, but when I go back and watch it, it’s not on. Last night, I was home, and had the TV on, and they (the Spike TV announcer) said The Shield was next. But what comes on instead? Yep, the worst show in the history of TV, CSI. Well, CSI: Miami is the worst, but….

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?!?!?!
