Ontario Canada already passed this about 10 years ago, but it's rare to see women actually doing it there. Only strippers and those really nasty wrinkled tanning freaks..
It makes sense to legalize it though, it's just skin, men have the same thing just smaller (sometimes the same size).

Its an unfair statement to say that women would only go topless to flaunt their tittays. I'm sure the majority of women wouldn't even DO it while walking around running errands...seeing as I AM a woman and have had this discussion with countless women before, especially living in a province where it IS legal....most women just want the ability to take off their top at the beach without getting ticketed/charged. Its also an "equal rights" thing that STEMMED from not being able to walk around the beach/park in the summer without a shirt while guys can. The only time I've ever wanted to rip off my top was at the beach when I wanted to get a decent tan. Unfortunately,every time I've ever done that (because, you know...I CAN here) I've been heckled, harassed...even called a slut. Men make me not want to take advantage of my right to tan topless.
Women aren't to blame for mens "pigheaded mentality". Men are. When they stop treating us like nothing but sexual beings, when in reality we're NOT most of the time (say what you will, no woman is going to walk around while shaking her tits, jiggling them, rubbing them trying to turn random men on...women just wanted the ability to remove their top in above said instances just like men can) ....
Bottom line is, if women can't go to the beach and remove their top because its "turning guys into pigs"...then its a sad sad day to live in. I'm sorry, just because I have tits and want to show them to the glorius sun so to avoid the dreaded tanline....doesn't mean that I'm out to flaunt them or show off. Maybe its time certain men (and I stress certain because not all have this frame of mind) can stop generalizing that we're "objects" of lust and just let us gals go on our way and do our thing. If a woman whipped out her tits to feed her child, you wouldn't be looking at her in a sexual way...so removing a bikini top in the summer to tan shoudlnt' be either. Just like someone posted, there are cultures where women go topless all the time and men don't treat them any differently...nude beaches in certain countries...no one bothers women there. Maybe time for our taboo society to chill the fuck out.

I'm all for it, but at public places like baseball games, I think we'll see a strict "no shirt, no shoes, no service," for men and women alike.
I doubt there'd be many men against it, so long as people dont start getting ridiculous / over the top / sexually harrassing then there'd be no problem
I think we should have the option to take off our tops, in a location that is suitable. Adults only beaches for sure. I don't think it's good to go topless all the time. Can you imagine my sister and I walking around topless in the mall? lol, yeah, I bet you can!

There's a whole bunch of things certain groups of people aren't allowed to do.
Black employess at six flags arent allowed to wear cornrows. Hell even in the NBA, athletes have to wear suits when attending public events, they can't even wear headbands on some teams. In some schools, guys arent allowed to have hair go pass their collars, but girls can.
I don't see you guys fighting over stuff like that.

Name one other reason that a girl would walk around without a shirt on.
What, tanning? No, there are tanning booths. And, girls who want to get a tan by using the sun can easily do it in the comfort of their backyard. There is absolutely no reason for a girl to walk around without a shirt on, other than to get attention.
How is that an equal rights issue? Women's breasts are considered a private area and a man's chest is not. Why? Because, like it or not, women's breasts stimulate sexual arousal in people, men and women alike. That's exactly why women show off their breasts by flaunting a little cleavage when they go out; because it draws attention.
Let me ask you a serious question (because I ask this to everyone who acts like public nudity is no big deal)...
A) Would you do it in front of your father?
B) Would you do it in front of your children?
I don't mean to get personal with this, but how can you say all of that when you're a cam girl? You are the definition of women treating themselves as an object of lust. Nobody made you become a cam girl (for example) and nobody makes women portray themselves as nothing more than a sexual object of desire. Women know exactly what they're doing when they act in such a manner to draw attention to themselves. So, don't put all of the blame on men here, because women are just as much to blame for how they get treated.
