Yes and Yes. And a Wiki search on the Bible reveals an enigma. We don't know who wrote what became the Christian Bible and we don't know who wrote the Biblical additions to Wiki
The wiki doesn't even mention the sexy theory that Shakespeare wrote the King James version as a favor to King James.
To be serious, the biggest problems with liberals in the US is that they too often treat the constitution as a suggestion instead of the ultimate law of the land that recognizes our most fundamental rights, and if something in it's inconvenient for them at the time either them or their liberal judges have no problem twisting it, creatively interpreting it, or just making a mockery of it to get what they want.
(To be fair over the last couple of decades even Republicans are catching up to them on this.)

Well liberals built the American giant of the 20th century. Everything that we can say that was great about that giant was part of the American liberal tradition. Conservatives have been on the wrong side of American history for over a century -- they have opposed pure food and drug laws, child labor laws, conservation, women's voting rights, social security, FDR's attempt to rebuild the Navy in the '30's to counter the threat of Hitler & Japan, the Marshall Plan, desegregation in schools, Medicare, civil rights legislation ... the list goes on and on. Conservatives often try to co-opt the Founding Fathers but we all know that if they lived in that period they would have been Tories loyal to the British.
with Liberals is that they lack patriotism and are often forgetting the problems of illegal immigration and the scum living in the trashy ghetto suburbs. They like their state to be a nanny state and they forget the problems of their own country including criminality, drug sales, prostitution and stolen firearms sales.

i guess the other problem with liberals is we tend to get caught in that vicious cycle of trying to outdo the conservatives then we chase each other's tails.....when really we are the chosen ones who should be leading the way.

And liberals aren't? Have you ever been to some of the liberal web sites and seen some of the things they wrote? The way I see it there is plenty of hate coming from both sides.
