Hiliary 2020
Thanks, Its not there anymore, the emoticon when I wrote the word test.
And are the 2020 elections coming up or will they be cancelled? I think now I know why Hilliary didn't run.
And you know me. I'm not gonna blame the actor Donald for anything just like I don't blame Bryan Cranston for cooking all that meth.
I'm stressed but I'm handling it. My son and I haven't been near anybody in almost 2 weeks.
Hope your'e doing ok.

Thanks! I am doing even better than before the - nice touch with the date - Friday, the 13th measures have been set in place, and have been stepped up. I even lost a little weight, and my left hand is getting stronger. (That's a lot of off topic :D )

I think the course the president is taking is a desperate attempt to reframe history and make him some sort of great wartime president. Yet, in reality, in his own words, on tv and on twitter, he shows catastrophic lack of judgement, almost no sense of reality, and cruelty.

How can anyone could take Trump seriously on Coronavirus. A month ago he was calling it "the new democratic hoax" and now he says keeping the death toll under 100,000 would mean he and administration would have done "a very good job".

Pence flouts Mayo Clinic policy on masks -- which is to wear one

When Vice President Mike Pence walked into the Mayo Clinic on Tuesday, he wasn't wearing a face mask.
Everyone else in the building was
, according to reporters who were traveling with him. After all, it has been the policy at the renowned Rochester, Minnesota, facility since April 13. They even say they'll provide one.

Pence was told of the new rules before he visited, the clinic said on Twitter, a post that was subsequently deleted.
"Mayo Clinic had informed @VP of the masking policy prior to his arrival today," they had written. But as he visited a blood and plasma donation center inside the building, Pence was bare-faced.
Others in the room -- including Dr. Stephen Hahn, the Food and Drug Administration head -- wore coverings.

The Mayo Clinic briefed Pence's team in the last several days about the clinic's policy requiring face masks, a person involved in planning the visit told CNN. The briefing came after the White House reached out last week about a potential visit. The person said when the clinic told the White House about the policy, it wasn't clear whether Pence would wear a mask.

When Pence and the team, including reporters, arrived at the clinic, personnel from the facility had masks available for the group, including Pence. During the tour, the rest of the entourage wore masks except Pence.
Another source familiar with discussions said it is clear that -- despite what the vice president said in defending himself and not wearing a mask -- Pence's staff understands now it was a mistake. News reports after the visit focused on whether he wore a mask instead of the work being done at the Mayo Clinic, and Pence's staff believes they should have made sure he wore one to avoid such a news cycle, the source said.

Pence did avoid shaking hands; he elbow-bumped instead with doctors and officials.
But he was mask-less as he thanked workers, conferred with hospital administrators and spoke with a Mayo Clinic employee who was donating plasma after being diagnosed with Covid-19 at the end of March.

Afterward, Pence told reporters that he wasn't wearing a mask because he's often tested for coronavirus.
"As vice president of the United States I'm tested for the coronavirus on a regular basis, and everyone who is around me is tested for the coronavirus," he said, citing guidelines from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that indicate wearing a mask can prevent those who have the virus from spreading it unwittingly.
"Since I don't have the coronavirus, I thought it'd be a good opportunity for me to be here, to be able to speak to these researchers these incredible health care personnel and look them in the eye and say thank you," he said.

In an update its website on April 13, the Mayo Clinic said it was requiring "all patients and visitors to wear a face covering or mask to help slow the spread of COVID-19." It did not distinguish between visitors who had been tested for coronavirus and those who hadn't.
"Patients and visitors are asked to bring their own face covering or mask to wear. If a patient or visitor does not have a mask, Mayo Clinic will provide one," the website reads.
The guidance is based on recommendations from the Trump administration. The CDC recommended in early April that Americans consider wearing face coverings when in public to help prevent the virus spread from asymptomatic carriers. For roughly the past month, Pence has been getting tested weekly for the virus.

In announcing the new guidance, however, President Donald Trump repeatedly highlighted the recommendations weren't mandatory. And he said he would not partake.
"I don't think I'm going to be doing it," he said, going on to suggest it was hard to envision such a thing in the Oval Office: "Wearing a face mask as I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens -- I just don't see it."
After the Mayo Clinic deleted its tweet saying it had advised Pence of the mask policy, a new message appeared thanking him for visiting.
"We look forward to continued collaboration to develop essential testing and treatment for our patients and communities," the new tweet read.

As usual with Trump and his minions, rules don't apply to them. Rules are for the common folks, not for leaders.

And then the mayo tweeted that they told pence to wear a mask, but later deleted the tweet. Speculation is that they were worried about trump pulling their funding, and there's even more speculation about what caused them to be worried. Banana republic.

Just wondering, if trump is so tremendous and legitimate and a billionaire, why is he so desperate to keep his tax returns hidden? Even if you support trump, you have to admit that if he has anything worth bragging about he'll brag, so why isn't he rubbing all our faces in his vast wealth?

trump says pompeo asked him to fire state dpt IG Steve Linick. Of course, trump didn't know him, never met him, never heard of him.

How long until pompeo is out on his ass? I'm going to play it safe and say 2 months, but I won't be surprised if he finds himself under the maga bus in 1.

PS - That's 4 IGs sacked in 6 weeks now, btw. DEFINITELY the mark of a legit government.

Good thing Dr. Trump didn't try to prove this one correct:
"Look at those hands. Are they small hands? And he (Marco Rubio) referred to my hands — if they're small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there's no problem, I guarantee."

Trump to get Antifa listed as a terrorist organisation following recent incidents;

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...fa-terrorist-organisation-tweet-a9541306.html

Earlier this week, I watched a YouTube video where a Black girl ran up behind a White girl who was spraying graffiti on a store. The Black girl said, "get your Antifa ass outta here - they're going to blame that shit on us!" How she decided that the girl was with Antifa, I don't know. But with the Black girl being a good bit bigger than the White girl, and by her tone, the other girl didn't waste any time hitting the road. In the comments, several suggested that she should have cold-cocked Antifa girl while she was spraying the wall. But I think she handled it the right way.

It's just a shame that there are people and groups who are using this tragedy, and the ensuing peaceful protests, as an opportunity to loot and burn. They don't give a crap about what happened to George Floyd. They don't give a crap that their anarchist actions allow establishment types to point to their violent acts and oppose reforms. As my coach used to say when one of our guys royally screwed up a play, "you're the best player the other team's got!"

I have no idea how much of the damage and violence can be linked to that group of basement dwelling, over-privileged punks and snowflakes. And it might be a reach to classify them as terrorists (especially since many organized gangs aren't). But I do think that a heavier hand is needed in dealing with them.

More distraction from Trump today:
  • “Hopefully George is looking down right now and saying, ‘This is a great thing that’s happening for our country.’ This is a great day for him. It’s a great day for everybody.”
  • "Really Big Jobs Report. Great going President Trump (kidding but true)!”
Joe Biden appears to have misread the 2016 autopsy:
  • "There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the people out there that are just not very good people, but that’s not who we are. The vast majority of the people are decent, and we have to appeal to that and we have to unite people — bring them together. Bring them together.”
I can't say I disagree with him, but he shouldn't be saying that shit.

Well, since Ross Perot is dead, I guess I have to choose either Daffy Duck or Bugs Bunny as my write-in candidate.

I've been having a hard time deciding. So when I asked Bugs to answer a few questions for me, he told me that if I had to think about it, I wasn't really a rabbit.
