well, the topic now seems to be what coaches have been fired!!! but what do u think about coaches with long time stay, like Fisher of Tennese Titans, will he make them champs ever???
Yes, they have (unfortunately). But Mike Shanahan didn't win as consistently in Denver without John ("Horse Face") Elway as he did with J.E., AND this year the Broncos DID become one of the very few teams in NFL history to blow a three game division lead with only three games left to play and then not make the playoffs, so I guess the Queen Bee "brain trust" decided it was finally time for a change at the head coaching position. I just hope whoever they bring in to replace M.S. does even worse with that team than M.S. did after Horse Face retired. I really don't care much about the NFL anymore, but it still brings me pleasure every time I hear that the Queen Bees and the Cowgirls have lost, and even MORE pleasure when I hear that neither of them have made that season's playoffs. That makes this season a good one for me, even if I almost never watch the NFL anymore.I'm surprised by that. I thought the Jets firing Mangini was a little overreaction, but this even goes beyond that. Denver has been one of the most winning teams the last 15 years.
That would be FINE by me! Yet another example of someone who got his job more because of his last name than because he's really any good at what he does. Problem is that Denver getting him would mean Dallas losing him. Too bad he can't be the "head coach" for both those homo teams at the same time!Fisher will stay there as long as they stay playoff contenders. That seems to be the template for whether a coach stays. It'll be interesting to see who gets the Denver job. It would be funny if Wade ended up back there again. :1orglaugh

F*ck the NFL and all its overpaid, whining players. Having typed that, I am VERY glad that the Cowgirls and the Denver Queen Bees didn't make the playoffs. Now, as long as the Manning brothers get eliminated before the Super Bowl, I'll be happy. Not that I'll be watching, of course...
Alright, well, here are the matchups:
Jan 3 & 4:
Colts at Chargers
Ravens at Dolphins
Falcons at Cards
Eagles at Vikings
Let's hear everybody's opinions. :2 cents:
What about Bill Cowher? I thought the Jets were going to talk to him...
That's your opinion. I'd watch a D-III regular season game before I'd watch the NFL, even the Super Bowl itself, most of the time, anymore.start wishing...nfl rules over college football

Where am I getting that from? How many playoff games have the Queen Bees won since Horse Face retired? Come on, you can count 'em! It takes only one hand! In fact, it takes only one finger! You know it's been a decade since Horse Face retired from the NFL, right? And that during that decade the Ray-daaahs have more playoff victories than the Queen Bees do, right? Oh, maybe you didn't. Sorry to be the one to inform you of these things. All right, actually I'm not. As for what happens to the Queen Bees next? I couldn't care less, except that I hope they SUCK from now until the day I die, which, for my sake, hopefully won't be for MANY years to come!I don't know where you are getting that. Since Elway retired the broncos have had season of 13-3, and a handful where they are 10 wins or better. Unfortunately for them they just happened to be good or great when half the rest of the AFC was good or great and ended up loosing to worthy teams in the playoffs. They never did worse than 6-10 and even that record only happened once. They have been one of the better teams during that period. He is probably going to be a Hall of Fame coach and rightfully so. He has also had top 10 defenses since Elway's that time so it's not like it's impossible for him to create them. Besides Belichick and Dungy I don't know if there is a better coach on the league right now, and even if Schottenheimer or Cower comes back there is so many coaches that have been fired recently and positions that need to be filled that they are by no means guaranteed to get one of them. This could very well go down as the dumbest decision Denver has ever made.
