If they played a team from Canada or Europe. I don't want to say have them play an arena bowl team because that is a different game. They are all different leagues. That is why I would like to see them play each other. What do you mean counties or countries?

You said counties. That's I asked what you meant. And you think a team from Canada can beat any team from the NFL? The reason they have players, is because they are not good enough for the NFL.

That's is a false accusation and you know it. They could get an all star team together to play the Detroit Lions at some time. Plus it's possible just image the strain ts. There has to be a way, and I don't know why it has not been done. I'm not saying have them play the worst team in the league so that team can feel good about playing in a game. Something's got to give.

Why it hasn't been done? NO MONEY IN IT! The Lions will beat the best CFL team, hands down. :hatsoff:

I wasn't trying to single the lions out. There has to be money in it. Its two different counties. If the idea came across and they actually had some people that could play they would have their selves a ball game. What they need to do is hire some of those worlds strongest men to play for the team. Then they will have their selves a line. There has to be other people in the world. For the sake of goodness, and to be able to say we beat those Americans. It would make an interesting movie like that movie, Mystery Alaska. Instead if it happened in real life every once in a while. That would be great too, I would watch it. I don't know about everyone else but you couldn't miss something like that.

Yep. Forget talent.

There is your problem in thinking this. Life is not a movie.

I agree with this, but the fact of the matter is USA is the only country in the world with any talent in football, or gridiron as it is called overseas.

You have some of the stupidest posts I've ever read. The National Champ in college football would beat any team in the CFL. Stop talkin about movies and mystery alaska.

Anyways, instead of divisions in the NFL, they should just have one ranking, best record to worst. You can still have your divisional matchups, but instead of a shitty arizona/denver team getting into the playoffs, you would have atlanta/new england/philadelphia in the playoffs.

How many teams in your tourney? Still a 12 teamer?

Great Week(except for my Broncos sucking ass)!

The Bolts have been the best team in that division for a long time. This season saw them dealing with injuries and inconsistent play. Look at their losses. Not one of them was by a large margin. They've been in every game. Chambers needs to start producing. So does their D-Line. Look for them to win next week and go to the playoffs. Rivers is a franchise QB. Tomlinson wants 1000+ yards and the team will help him get it.

Can't do that when Rivers is isn't.

That's been a team problem all season. But Rivers can produce given time. He makes few mistakes and he's peaking at the right time. His last four starts:
82-131 for 996 yards, 9 TDs and 1 INT. Not too shabby. Looking at Chambers stats, he averages 10 yards per reception. Maybe he's mainly used as a slot receiver on passing downs, or maybe he doesn't move the ball after the catch.

Not too shabby? Those are excellent. but, he isn't a producer at QB. if he was, they would be better than 8-7. How much of that was in junk time?

Atlanta is in. New England and Miami can still get in. Why are they not in yet? Hmm, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, and Indianapolis. Dallas will not get in. Philadelphia is not mediocre. If they are then throw Miami and New England in there. The only team you say that is mediocre that will be in the playoffs is Arizona. Yes, you can throw San Diego/Denver in too. NFL has the best playoff system of ALL sports in USA. What are you bitching about? The best teams always get in. It isn't like a wannabe team like Tampa Bay or Washington will get in over a team that does deserve it. :1orglaugh

Simply put--the current system rewards mediocrity at the expense of competition. The winner of San Diego/Denver has no business being in the playoffs. Arizona is a shit team from a shit division. In a single table arrangement, none of these teams would make it in the playoffs this season. Every season there are teams that are rewarded with playoff births when they don't have the records to warrant it. It's just because they are in a weak Division.

If the NFL went single table and the Top 12 teams..look at what the playoff picture would look like...

Just look at the first twelve. In today's system we have to kick out 2 teams and make room for Arizona and SD/Denver? Look at how far down SD/Den/AZ are on this list:1orglaugh

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Oh my God, I am so fucking PUMPED about tonight's game. Pizza, Guinness, Packers, Da Bears, Monday Night Football, first place in the division AND the playoffs at stake...MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO MEEEEE!!!

Even though I am a 49ers fan I'll be enjoying tonight's game and rooting for Rodgers to go down, hard. The chance of my fantasy team of winning the championship rests on his performance. Maybe he'll twist his knee in the first drive of the game and doesn't return for rest of the game.

The Chargers haven't lost a game by more than a touchdown. So I'm pretty sure there has been ZERO garbage time for Rivers to rack up stats.
