Really? If you looked at my "location", you would see that I live in Chicago. There are a SHIT LOAD of "pale" people celebrating at Grant Park. That's where the Obama rally is, in case you didn't know. The cameras might not be zooming in on nothing but the "pale" faces, but there are still thousands, upon thousands, upon thousands of white people in that crowd.

Do you work hard for your money? Do you think about the money that comes out of your paycheck in taxes that suppliments exec pay in corporations with large tax exemptions friendly to the administration? You must know you work about 5 months a year to pay those taxes or does that all go to those lazy people who sometimes work two jobs at less than minimum wage to buy food? I'll bet you think that's where it goes, while your gov't spends $12B a month for it's illicit takeover of Iraq. Must have been a good reason for that right? :dunno:

Do you know that when this occurs to you, your great great grandchildren will still be paying the estimated $6 trillion that illicit war based on Bush admin lies costs? Or do you just believe what you're told on blind faith like a good boy?

I do agree with what you believe. I think people should work for what they have and not have it handed to them. But I do believe there are exceptions to that: take a person like Bill Gates. He has what, 55 BILLION dollars. No person on Earth needs that kind of money. If he was taxed beyond all comprehension, millions of people, and I don't mean lazy people, I mean hard working or retired people, could benefit from that money. His taxes alone would save Social Security in this country. Like my dad tells me, when I get to be his age, Social Security is going to be non-existant.

Will it really make you that happy to be able to shove it in someone's face? If it does, then you have a problem. It's almost like some of you are wishing for Obama to fail now.

I think we will all be disappointed if Obama fucks up and furthermore, as Americans, we will all be in the same fucking boat, like it or not. As the candidates both said, we must move forward for change and work TOGETHER!

This is low, flaming over something that's done. What makes this election sore is the actual votes are much closer than electorial votes, which means damn near half of the country is pissed/angry/sore. That's grounds for a possible civil war if I remember history. If I get a chance to say 'I told you so' in the future the it's already too late. SO now it's bedtime, and at least checks and balances will keep the damage if any minimal.

Very well said. Bush fucked up royally over the last 8 years and it's the Americans who are suffering right now. If you wish failure on Obama then you must not like America very much cuz if he screws up then we are that much more doomed as a nation.

Um wow, I had this whole speech on how I am proud to be an American on this day and how proud I was to have witnessed this historic day with my grandparents who are both in their 70s and have been able to live long enough to watch something they didn't think would ever happen in their lifetime and how even I teared up while watching Obama's speech because all I could think about was my ancestors and the people who fought for them to have just even the basic human rights in this country. I was really going to write something profound and then I read some of the most hateful, racist, idiotic, backwards thinking I have ever read on this board and realized you don't deserve it.
