To to moderation of FO, especially Roald (who strated the thread) and Petra: was this thread started with a purpose to change things or just to know what the thoughts are with the users of the board?

My signup date shows 2008, but I only posted here a few times from 2008 through 2010 -- there were even times I forgot that I even had an account here! A year ago, I logged in on a whim ... and have been posting on a daily basis ever since. After reading thru the posts on this thread, I regret missing out on some good times and quality posters. But having said that, I really like FO as it is now. Some folks are very witty, charming and cool, while others are simply very nice and sweet, and the mods have always been understanding and supportive. Looking at pix of naked beautiful women is all good, but it's the members here that keep me coming back. :sunny:

Agreed cindy!!!!!!!

80% of the decent posters have left or very rarely post :(

I wholeheartedly agree. :)
Just look at the funny pics thread now. Most of the posts are all inside jokes or something like that. Gets boring and ruins the board for those who are not in the "click". If there's one thing I **** about clicks, it's clicks.

I just figured out how to use the new search feature and found these to quotes that stuck in my mind and sum up my opinion on this issue.

There are still some very fine posters in here but far too many have vanished and been replaced by bad boyz. :hairpull:

Good posters is like good music these days, it's still around, but it's just harder to find.

Seems the absence of a lot of the more personality-laden past members has created a void where fun once lived.
