Do people even still use Java? Didn't that thing have loads of security holes which were exploited hugely by all kind of script kiddies to steal accounts etc? I haven't had Java installed for a long time and it was not really needed for any page or program I use anyway...

Our tech guys are on it and we're working as fast as we can to make everything smooth again.
Browsing can be a pain without Java. Pages on legitimate sites uses java to enable action like navigate to the next page or drop down menus and much more. YouTube uses java. You can't watch videos otherwise. NoScript on FF blocks java on all sites, but you can enable java on SFW sites, the sites you trust.
^thats javascript,not java.
now i get an idea who uses java now a days
Maybe you should try to uninstall or disable your Java and come back again after trying those pages without it and then tell us again how it works... JavaScript and Java are 2 completely different things regardless of their confusing names. I'm pretty sure that nowadays you do not need to have this virus called Java installed at all on your computer unless you are software developer working with that specific language, some tinytoony company tricked you to buy their Java software or other similar reason. Even if you have Java installed for whatever reason, it's just better to keep it disabled on browser anyway and pretty much all pages will be working without any pain at all....
Ah, well now I get it. BTW, the word "nowadays" is all in one word, mate.
When I load some threads, my anti-virus kicks off over this URL :

Any ideas?
This shouldnt present you with an issue any more.

Header just disappeared for me again. And I'm getting notifications about java. Methinks your malware might be back, since this what happened last time...
