Love that chicken from Popeye's! Got a 16 piece meal(all spicy) w/biscuits, Cajun Rice, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, and also 4 of their Spicy Chicken Sandwiches.

Last night we went to a Steakhouse named George Petrelli's in Culver City. Been there since 1931. I got a Rib Eye, mashed potatoes & gravy, veggies, and Caesar Salad. Me and my wife shared a bottle of wine. Tonight I went to an Italian Deli in Culver City named Sorrento's and got some really good Salami Sandwiches to go.

Today I went to Ono Hawaiian BBQ. When I walked up I saw they had a "B" grade from the Health Dept on the front door. I walk in and see girl behind register. "I see you have B grade on door. That means you be best! Way better than only adequate. Congratulations for being best at being unsanitary! One day I hope you become champion!"

I love their macaroni salad and I don't usually like macaroni salad. Haven't tried the Island Fish.

Tonight I had a piece of salmon. Wife cooked it. She did a fine job.

I made a nice pot of bean soup. So that'll be diner for a couple of nights, and a couple of lunches too.
Plus I bought extra diced up ham to supplement the 2 nice ham hocks I started with.
Next one will be lentil, or split pea, I'm not sure yet.
Maybe I'll make more pasta fagioli...I can live on that stuff.

I hit my favorite Mexican restaurant for take-out. Had three chicken enchiladas in mole sauce, Mexican rice, refried beans - and washed it down with a Dos Equis lager, with some freshly squeezed lime juice.

I'm kind of afraid to ask this, but how do they come up with 3 different kinds of chicken? I get white meat/dark meat....but what's the 3rd?

Diablo: uh, all three were white-meat chicken. It is a three enchilada "plate." You can also get ground beef, shredded steak, cheese, etc. This place's mole sauce has some "kick" to it, so I do all three of that type.
