Suppertime! Suppertime! Hey Fellas, What'd You Have For Supper Tonight?

Green curry for me. Shrimp, tofu, eggplant, acorn squash, and all that other gangsta ****. Served over rice. My first green curry. I usually make yellow or whatever.

Home made chicken stir fry and some five minute noodles.

Tonight some take-out from Pomodoro Trattoria, also on Westwood Bl. I got some Penne with Italian Sausage and the wife had the Seafood Linguini Special. We also got 2 Large Pizzas (Margarita & BBQ Chicken). Nice Italian neighborhood place that is reasonably priced.
is that the place in Westwood village? I used to go there and get carryout eggplant parm. They do a decent job for Italian food in LA.

None of that fancy grub ya'll are typing about. I just kept it simple and cheap: clam chowder and a 6-inch sub with stuff and bacon and whatever on it.

I've been happily married to my lovely wife for over 5 years now. In saying that, I have invented a bit of a game. Open the refrigerator door, stick your head in, then answer the $64,000 Question, "Did something go bad in there or is that just Asian food?"

Last night I had a couple of those Charbroiled Chicken Club sandwiches from Carl's Jr. This is one of the better chicken sandwiches out there. They give you a big grilled chicken breast that has good flavor plus the other goodies. I also got my 9 piece Jalapeño *******. Can't go to Carl's Jr and not get Jalapeño *******.

I think The wife will be picking up Quaker Steak & Lube tonight. She had to go into work, and she's doing the shopping.....so drive thru it is. They have decent burgers, I'll get one of those, and some fries, and maybe a loaded baked potato.

I had pizza and mojos del by grubhub. They were out of pepperoni twists. Shakeys is new to grubhub as many eating establishments are trying to stay afloat in trying times. Feel sorry for laid off workers at restaurants or those now cut back in hours they can work.

Shakeys. Not many of them left, but I adore them. That lunch buffet was a treat for me as a teen. My friend and I would tear that place up.

I used to think it was cheap pizza but when you think of it it was thin crust w a crispy bottom on even the thick crust type. No other chain gets the crispy bottom like shakeys. I used to like the thinner crispy mojos and would dumpster dive on them.. Too bad they do not have sour cream. They used to have decorative signs all over and one said " we have a deal with the bank- we make pizza and do not cash checks and the bank does not make pizza. Chatsworth has one still. One is east of that and another south east from chatsworth. The chicken garlic is nice as is the meat special you like.. I wonder if JOEY has been there... Randy santell should do an event there.

Cooked again. Baked a couple of potatoes. Took a tenderloin steak I had made out of the 'fridge, cut it up in cubes, re-cooked it with garlic and worcestershire sauce, put pepper and garlic and butter on the potatoes--which I always eat with the skins on--and then covered them with the steak pieces and some chopped onion. I ate too damn much...🥴

pizza again. To lazy to nuke something.

WOW! That's pretty sad now that I see it written out.
