I'm with you regarding frozen pizza; 99% of them are awful, and the rest aren't worth buying when I could get a fresh one for the same price.

Tonight, it's chicken marinated in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, rosemary, salt, pepper, fresh garlic and lemon, along with oven roasted squash and potatoes.

I feel for them, but the one I use is out of my delivery range, and I have to go pick it up....it's worth it, and farther than 3 major chains, and 2 smaller places.

In February of 2010 I drove from Summit New Jersey to Atlantic City during a snow storm. Those experienced cars with Jersey license plates were sliding all over the GSP and wiping out onto guard rails and onto the side of the road.

I kept driving. The yanquis down south would always say " you southerners can't drive in snow" well they are kinda right because we don't get much of it duh..
Anyway back to my story..

I kept driving heading to my ultimate destination of Bally's Atlantic City. I was in my lane and there were 3 or 4 more lanes available so I expected these seasoned and experienced Jersey ice road truckers to pass me and flip me off since I am only going about 45 MPH but they don't. I look in my rear view and there has to be 30 cars all following me. I expect one or two to pass since I gotta be pissing these experienced Jersey snow drivers off by going slow. Nope they keep following me.

As we are heading to AC Jersey DOT trucks would pass us and they would be plowing snow off of the GSP and spreading salt so I realize that these Jersey snow drivers could pass if they wanted to but must think I am doing pretty good for a southerner that can't drive in snow.

By the time I get to toll booths in AC there had to be 50 cars behind me and none tried to pass until we got to toll booths saying welcome to AC.

So eff you Bob. Go eat your non fluffy Matzo balls.

Last night the wife and I had pizza. Hers was some ridiculous attempt at a healthy choice....mine however was a Chicago deep dish, stuffed with sausage, meatball, and mushroom, with extra cheese on top. Dinner last night, lunch today.

Tonight she said shes going to make stir fry with pork, shrimp, and use Kung Po sauce.....I'll go to the local Chinese take out and get a large order of their "house special" fried rice (that means chicken, beef, pork, and shrimp), and a couple of egg rolls.

They're our choice for take out Chinese food, out of the 7 or so within a 10 minute drive....and they're only 5 minutes away.

I haven't had deep dish in forever, and reading that you did made me both hungry and jealous. Yours has too much meat on/in it for my taste though.

I'd love it if you don't mind sharing; I'd like to think I make a good tomato sauce, but I can't say that I learned my recipe from 4 full blooded Sicilian women.

Anyways, tonight I went out for Korean with some friends; we shared vegetable dumplings, they got bibimbap and I got miso ramen. It was tasty, but I think it had way too much sodium in it, my mouth has been incredibly dry since I finished it.

Pizza Night here at the house too. Mondays Lamonica's in Westwood Village does buy one Large 18" Pizza and get another one free. We got one Large Pepperoni, Sausage, and Mushroom plus another Large Hawaiian for $25.67 including tax.
