I know what you're saying, but I'm guessing that he enjoyed the fruits of his labor every morning when he arrived at his office. Kind of like Enzo Ferrari and other iconic figures, people like Jobs don't look forward to sitting in a rocking chair at 65, like most of us do. They're blessed to be doing exactly what they'd like to be doing forever.
This is really different. It's VERY unusual for a business leader (or even an engineer/inventor) to be seen as a "rock star". But there are make-shift memorials popping up all around the world right now, according to Bloomberg.
Very well said indeed. He was more concerned about what he was doing, and he exactly had an idea about what he was doing.Had he lived 100 years, he's have done the same thing.
R.I.P Mr.Jobs.We will miss you.
