This is the latest addition to the household since the fucking asshole neighbours left him behind when they moved.

This is him 8 months later.

He's developed quite the foot fetish. Or I should say, shoe fetish.

What are some people like! I bet you are glad they left. I wonder what goes through people's minds?

My Dalmation, collapses on the floor and starts shaking if there is any loud music. He is terrified of a lighter and had burn marks when I got him.

When I adopted him he looked like a radiator he was so skinny and could not run. Now he has outlived all of my pack and trots alongside me every day on my 6 mile MTB ride.

Well done Mister Rane.

So I'll ask. Does he eat the shoes? Damn, son!
:D He was like a wafer when I first took him in. I don't think they fed him much, if at all, because he used to eat everything in sight when he first moved in. Now he just lazes around and watches tele all day. Just like me. [I wish]

Yeah, there should be a special section in Hell for bastards that abuse animals. I just don't understand assholes that can do that.

I'm glad your dalmation's come good. He hit the jackpot living in the Manor. As long as he doesn't put on any 'airs and graces'. lol
Seriously though, kudos for taking him in.

It is even better, now that he has stopped biting me for trying to sit on "HIS" sofa

I was going to post something, but I forgot what the heck it was about after seeing MissHybrid in those boots!

Oh, yes! I can feel for you, Ms. Hybrid. In the space of about a year, I had the worst luck and time with my animals passing away. It was horrible, but, animals are of great importance to me, and this summer, after my Rott passed away, I knew the wife and I would want another one. So... after a brief search, we found this little lady. We drove 3 1/2 hours each way to get her, and she is just the sweetest dog.

She is just as gentle as can be with our cats, and our chickens.

Thought I would share this one, though it is many years and a couple Rotts ago. We had a stray come to live with us, and deliver us 7 healthy kittens. Most of the kittens got great new forever homes, but when they were still just little peanuts, the runt of the litter decided to introduce himself to the Rott we had at the time. The result was this picture, which is still one of my favorites I've ever taken of pets. (I still have that little runt, too.)

Oh look at that, what a photo. "No fear", right in your face, or is it just innocence? I love the photograph. I am pleased the kitten survived.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
That is the face of a dog, that's been smacked across the nose, by cat claws. He knows.

You are 100% correct! Before those kittens came along, one of the cats I used to have was a wonderful old barn cat, who was the undisputed queen of the house. That Rott was a great protector of the cats, and a good referee when cats got after each other!

That little kitty in the picture has been like this with every dog. He's not afraid of them, but it's not an aggressive thing- he loves cuddling with them and he's just a lovable little guy.

Train her to grab them by the head, and you'll never have to buy a license, raise a gun, or sit in a cold duck blind again!
