It's like the old phrase "movies don't create psycho's, they make psycho's more creative". You will always get some idiot out there abusing the whole freedom of games, porn, movies, music, etc. That doesn't mean the product is to blame. THE BLAME LIES WITH THE USER and their lack of self control in using said product. The product does not make the person (like you mentioned) a lousey boyfriend, it's the boyfriend himself that is lousey from the start. Your excuse is the typical one from people in denial, those that have been told the truth on the matter!.

In that case would it be the drugs or the game that making him rather lethargic and not wanting to do anything besides play games all the time?

I love games. I love playing them. But I'm not about to turn away my lady (for anything just about) or other life events just to keep playing. Especially since can save the game and continue on later.

Sad to see Jeremy, who is usually one of porn's more intelligent and well spoken individuals, taking such a poorly thought out and misinformed tack. Time and time again video games have been proven to have no ill effects on children, overuse aside. Gamers not only show no more tendency for violence, in fact, but also show higher aptitude levels, better coordination and problem solving skills, and even increased social skills. Again, this is negated by overuse, but overuse is detrimental in all things.

There is nothing wrong with either porn or video games. I might be biased as I'm hopelessly addicted to both. Why not throw TV and movies into the mix? Watched the news lately? I was one that believed (and still do to a certain extent) that video games are creating a whole new generation of overweight children lacking of social skills. Then my nephew got an XBox for Christmas and it he had a very realistic fighter jet game with it and I understood a little more the addictive nature of these things.

Having said that, if I had children I would allow them an hour or so each day to play them and that would be it.
