I never heard of Jessie before this thread. Yeah, she did quite a bit of work in the industry, with 10 pages of links. She is pretty; I can see where she did modeling before responding to the CL ad. I only looked at a few of the links post boob-job, but I like them so far.

Regarding her diatribe: I'm skeptical about her painting the ENTIRE industry, with her paint brush / experiences. No industry could survive if it treated ALL of their employees that badly. No matter how much money they pay you.

I read the other posts on this topic, and I agree, that she likely got in "over her head." Her initial porn studio had her booked for MONTHS, the day she turned 18? Talk about a baptism by fire. And her complaint about getting the royal flush treatment: if you know a male actor has a BDSM / perverted reputation, WHY put yourself in a situation like that, alone with him??? I think she should look in the mirror for blame, as much as the parts of the industry she dealt with.

I'll agree that a lot of what she is talking about is specific to the industry a few years ago. It seems like a lot of her bad experiences were with the traditional porn studios based out of L.A. A lot of them have died out even in the last few years. It seems like the culture is changing overall. People complained about "reality porn" but I think that is part of the wave that is driving healthier norms within an otherwise unhealthy industry.

How would you expect it otherwise when you "offer" yourself to some people who live in a fantasy world and think they are the real deal because of it?!

Unfortunately people are scumbags. People will try to take advantage of other people. I hate that so much, but humans will always try to dominate.

Pron industry is not something I would definitely advise to anybody. Not because "its porn blablabla" but because you get yourself in a dominated position, either for real, or just for the fantasy, and other people will take advantage of this.
Porn entertains alive a lot of sick fantasies and ideas. Most sex killers are heavily into porn because they find in it enough to keep alive all their twisted fantasies. That's also shy I think rape-porn and stuff like that shouldn't be allowed that easily.

Its easy to write some shit like this later on down the road to try and distance yourself from the things you've done. She spent a year in the business I spent 15 years. I have seen girls high and stoned and directors be dickheads. But In comparison to shoots where everyone was professional and did their job as expected those were a very small %. People who do well treat it as a business, not a lifestyle. Its a prostitution ring because the girls CHOOSE to be whores on the side. They aren't forced to do anything. They make a lot more money escorting than filming and its not out there for the world to see so they justify it as no different than shooting scenes even though it is VERY different.

You can't really make blanet statements about the compkete induistry in all its variations, every partaker in it, and expect us to take this serious.

Of course there are many and will always be some, more or less, who do not act like soe outsider would expect, especially if that outsider has a deeply religious or prudish mindset.

She had a terrible experience, and i'm really sorry for her, but calling all actors/actress/porn companies and the porn fans scumbags is not fair!

She was very unlucky, i think most of the people that work in big companies are nice people, but yeah see a few videos on porn tube when Dino trolled and putted link with un-atractive chicks getting casted and humilited.
