Jessie Rogers(Rt) Exposes Horrible Porn Abuses

If Jessie/Jessica feels that way I will never tell her she is wrong and shouldn't feel the way she does.

HOWEVER

She started when she was 19. She was young and gullible. She got taken advantage of - according to her. I look at women that started in the industry later in life - 25 or later. In some cases 30+. These women had far less issues because they know their body better, won't take as much "crap" because they know better and have more confidence. I think of someone like India Summer who started later in life and raves about how great her porn life is and it might be that way because she entered later in life and had more substance to her than Jessie and other women who start in their teens.

I am glad to see her happy in life because that is most important for anyone. How full of shit she is - only she knows and I will NEVER tell her she is wrong.

I had been saying way back that I think the legal porn age should be bumped up to 21, due to the fact that so much shit happens to these 18 and 19 year old foolish girls because they think it's a good idea to do a few porn vids and not understanding the ramifications of what will happen when people find out about it (and they ALWAYS find out, especially nowadays). You see it so much now; these girls want a quick and easy pay check so they decide to do a porn vid or two to buy some shoes or pay rent for the month. Next thing you know, all their friends and family (or even boyfriends for the slimey girls out there) find out about it and they wind up looking like shit. Nowadays I have no sympathy for them. They should better prepared to handle the situation.

Reminds me of the classic efukt vid where some young teen girl agrees to fuck two guys on camera before finding out that it's going on the internet and everyone is going to see, and she literally breaks down in tears in front of everyone.

A quick Google tells me that the porn industry is about a 15 billion dollar a year industry. Another quick Google tells me that Brazzers, pretty much the biggest name in the industry, makes about 15 million a year. So Brazzers represents about... 0.1% of the industry according to it's revenue.

So if someone works for, say, 10 different big name companies they would have experienced... about 1% of the industry as a whole. Seem like an excellent position to pass judgement on the 99% you've never been involved with...?

Hey mod, I said she worked in a different part of the industry and on a different scale. This is just facts. Rogers is one of the highest searched for pornstars and she's been retired for a long time. Jane and Harley are minor players.

I know how protective you are of the OCSM so I'll leave it at that.

This is probably the right thing to do, but the directors and fans can't be trusted to implement it themselves. it would have to be done through ordinance and legislation.

It doesn't matter how minor we are compared to anyone else. Did you even read my last post?

Hey poster, I'm just saying your argument is terrible. That's just a fact.

Like you've said she's worked in a different part of the industry. Key thing there? PART OF the industry, not the whole thing, thus scale is irrelevant. When someone tries to paint the entire industry in a certain light (as Jessie Rogers has attempted), and they've (by your own admission) worked in only a small part of it that makes their stance myopic and invalid. You can't attest to what you've never experienced nor been involved with.

Brazzers is basically the biggest company out there. You can work for Brazzers and get a lot of exposure. Tonnes of hits, downloads, searches... all that stuff. And if that happens, guess what? You've only worked in about 0.1% of the industry (by profits, and due to the fact that Brazzers is as successful as it is, you've actually worked in substantially less since everyone else will have lower market share).

Your (terrible) argument is that since a lot of people know her and she's moved a lot of product her voice carries more weight, and thus she can make broad, sweeping generalizations on the industry based on her experiences. So, using that argument Britney Spears can tell you what the entire music industry is like because everyone knows her name and her "...Baby One More Time" album sold, like, 12 million copies. Yes Hit Me Baby One More Time makes Ms. Spears an expert on the music industry as a whole so you should heed what she says. And if Johnny Rotten comes along and tells you her experience doesn't really reflect the 1970s English punk rock scene... well fuck that guy because sales and popularity and stuff makes Spears' word have more weight, after all... it's not like the Sex Pistols ever sold 12 million copies of anything!

People can drive at 16 and drink at 21.

Now you want more regulations?

Eighteen is a good age.

That should be the driving age.

People are just going to have to start taking more responsibility for their actions and choices in life.

I did read your post, and I discounted it because it's obvious that it does matter.

People are just going to have to start taking more responsibility for their actions and choices in life.

Except this is America... and particularly the millennial generation, where people would rather make excuses by blaming everyone and everything else for their problems instead of looking inward and trying to figure out what they can do themselves to fix their own problems. Taking responsibility? Pfft.

Jessie Rogers is speaking about what she saw in her time, and she saw a lot of it. Scale is not irrelevant. As for work history, from what we have to go on, Rogers filmed more scenes in her time than either of the two performers we're comparing. She spent more time on set, around other performers and directors. Not to mention she dated and socialized with other performers and directors.

Harley? I wouldn't have known about her if she didn't post here. Jane has a little more presence, but neither even close to them.

As for your fixation on Brazzers...Jessie Rogers worked for them, Kink.com, ReaityKings.com, Bangbros and 40+ content producers. So she got a look at a large share of the industry and interacted with a lot of performers, directors and agents.

How many hardcore scenes did Harley shoot, and for which companies? I just checked her website and it looks like she does mostly scenes for her own site, maybe she does cam shows too?
So she has limited contact with other performers on set or with directors.

Thus, she is a minor player with a much more limited experience with other performers, directors and agents.

She can state her opinion, but it doesn't negate or mitigate what Jessie Rogers says; much if at all.

I checked Harley Spencer's website and it says that you live with her or near her. You're friends in Canada.
I always wondered why you would come in like an attack dog any time someone had a disagreement with her. Makes sense now.

Right, everything is always someone else's fault or you can blame society.

Well, they are going to have to start taking responsibility.

For fuck's sake, the porn age is fine the way it is! The problem is Jessie's IQ is about 60. I remember her videos on youtube...she talked the same crap we discuss here and just watching her talk was awkward...like she had some sort of a brain damage.
There are plenty of 18 year old girls (and boys) ready to handle porn

You perfectly described yourself. Thankfully, I can block your ridiculous comments. Good luck making no money, broke, :1orglaughwannabe porn "star."

lol, you fucking pussy. some one tries to have a decent debate with you, and when they make more sense than you, you block them, AND insult them, lol! you're such a fucking bitch made punk. neg reps for you, scooter.

I never heard of Jessie before this thread. Yeah, she did quite a bit of work in the industry, with 10 pages of links. She is pretty; I can see where she did modeling before responding to the CL ad. I only looked at a few of the links post boob-job, but I like them so far.

Regarding her diatribe: I'm skeptical about her painting the ENTIRE industry, with her paint brush / experiences. No industry could survive if it treated ALL of their employees that badly. No matter how much money they pay you.

I read the other posts on this topic, and I agree, that she likely got in "over her head." Her initial porn studio had her booked for MONTHS, the day she turned 18? Talk about a baptism by fire. And her complaint about getting the royal flush treatment: if you know a male actor has a BDSM / perverted reputation, WHY put yourself in a situation like that, alone with him??? I think she should look in the mirror for blame, as much as the parts of the industry she dealt with.

I was the one who tried to have a decent debate with her, all she had was insults and denial. As for calling me a punk, it means nothing over the internet.

Oh, and seeing that you like neg repping, take one yourself. Take a block too :)

Damaged people Live damaged lives and although this girl was very pretty she is obviously very damaged.
I wish her the best but if you are damaged your opinions and views are suspect at best.
There is good and bad in everything this gal should refrain from preaching and focus on fixing herself.
