Random Statement Thread II

How's everybody doing?

I see.

Now for something completely different: "Look, God Walked Down The Hill One Day, He Called Adam By His Name, But Adam Wouldn't Answer Because He Was Naked And Ashamed".

What ever happened to the 'crowds to loud' rule the NFL put up once? This game is annoying as hell, some woman near a mic is screaming a (that's right singular) looooooong high pitched scream above the crowd. I want to smack the dead skin cells off her face. Only consolation is for the rest of the week she won't have a voice. :)

I'm pretty certain I have a broken rib (I can move it about easily, and it hurts like hell).

Is there really any point in going to the doctors though? I don't think there is anything they can do about it other than tell me to rest. And no way am I "resting".

But its always better to let a doc take a look at it...

I think they quit doing it because the rule was pretty much useless, as every time they would go check the level of the sound the crown would purposely get quit. Plus once the team was out of time outs it was useless and they would cheer anyway. I think an even bigger reason was almost everybody universally hated it from the people in football to the fans. It was one of the most poorly thought out rules on the leagues part they ever did. Too many people considered it pretty sad when a contact sport would only allow its fans to cheer so much.

Twas a dumb rule to be implemented in the first place. I'm all for reducing noise pollution but at a ball game? Gimme a freakin' break!
