I always keep the original names in RPGs.

I think the only time I've ever named my characters was when playing Earthbound.

really, i never keep the original names ... every name i can change i will, kinda to make it more personal ...

I always change the main character's name to something that makes me feel like I'M the main character. Yeah, I'm one of those nerds.

I just like "personalizing" the game a little bit. It makes it more fun, IMO.

On this round i intend to keep them original, but i usually change them, I name Vincent to my name.

I guess that makes me one of those nerds.

Vincent ... you really like the dark once ... He was that vampyre right ?... I've played FF VII, but unfortunately i like FF VIII more (it was my second game first one was Hercules (Disney game, wanted my kid to play it as well) ... Anyhow i've played them almost all, have to say that IX was a bit lesser then the rest ...
My names are mostly nicknames i've "earned" over the years ... Ass is one of them
