I used to like to hurt myself...
If you need any encouragement not to then take my advice, pain really sucks, even for somebody that has a pretty high threshold for it.
I agree and if it blistered its second degree. First degree is just a bit red. Don't cover it and I hope you didn't apply water or ice to the second degree burns its not good for them. The creams you shouldn't use either. It's best just to leave it alone to heal when it blisters. I hope you feel better .
:kiss:es your burns better.
One finger has healed now except for some discoloration that slowly going away. There is no pain with it anymore. There is still one with the blister though. It doesn't really hurt and it's color is also slowly turning to normal. I'm being careful to keep the area disinfected. In a day or two one finger will be back to normal and hopefully the other one will be well on it's way. I just want the fluid in the blister to reabsorb because it's pretty annoying siting on top of my finder. The skin is flexible so it's not going to crack open. Although I do worry about it when I'm asleep. It's was probably a second degree burn, but by the looks of it's a very mild one. I can even type find today, and don't have to do it one handed, although yesterday I could do so also with a little bit of pain. I didn't push it though.
I guess that will teach me to be fully awake or to force myself to be more awake when dealing with hot things. I think I sort of had a micro sleep while standing up. Just enough to have my hand sway out.
I don't like it even more because I pride myself on being careful and alert. Some of them could have been worse. I've had too many minor things go wrong getting hurt in the past year, and even though some were total freak accidents, I don't like to be sloppy.
