Years ago I saw Radiohead play at Kitsap County Fairgrounds on the Washington State Penninsula. They were not quite the rock gods in those days. It was easy to get down to the front of the show. Most of the people had travelled over from Seattle and even at that late stage there were always grungy guys trying to get a mosh pit going. Radiohead went on in broad daylight in the afternoon. A couple of songs into the set some knobhead starts windmilling his arms around and trying to body slam. At the end of the song Thom Yorke singles him out and starts asking him why he just sent a young girl flying. He wanted an answer about why this fella thought it was OK to beat people up as a form of dancing, especially when they were only half his size. He ended up calling him a dick and asking the girlif she was alright.

Proof positive that Radiohead do care about their teenage girl fans.

Typical Thom Yorke . . . it's all about the pussy with that guy.

Thing is she probably wanted to meet the band just before or just after the show. Most bands like to be left alone for a little at that time. They perform a live set, meaning you have to focus a little, and right after a gig, you're tired and just want to take a shower and relax for 5 minutes.
