Yeah, Kanye West's almost-boundless ego is outdone really only by that guy who changes his name every other month or so. I will call him P. Doodle this month. The amount of credit these guys give themselves is astonishing, considering the amount of "talent" they supposedly have. Those "Diddy Blogs" during the election were downright embarrassing.

But as to the Radiohead thing- they don't really have to meet anyone they don't want to, regardless of who they are. No one does. And so her getting all twisted up because they wouldn't meet her is pretty out of line, I think.

Now-a-days, kids grow up thinking that they are automatically entitled to everything, especially when they are celebrities. Just because you are on TV and make a ton of money, it doesn't mean that you are entitled to anything more than everybody else. You don't deserve things just because you are a child or a celebrity. That's not how the world works.

I know this is an old thread, but I am a huge Radiohead fan, but the more I've been reading about Thom Yorke he sounds like he is quite the asshole. Apparently he has shrugged off a lot of people before. Jack Black said that when Thom released The Eraser he had congratulated him and Thom just walked away saying nothing. I still love the band and the music but come on, just because you're pissed off at the world doesn't mean you have to be pissed off at everyone else.

But Miley saying that she'll ruin Radiohead is a freakin' joke! haha

Years ago I saw Radiohead play at Kitsap County Fairgrounds on the Washington State Penninsula. They were not quite the rock gods in those days. It was easy to get down to the front of the show. Most of the people had travelled over from Seattle and even at that late stage there were always grungy guys trying to get a mosh pit going. Radiohead went on in broad daylight in the afternoon. A couple of songs into the set some knobhead starts windmilling his arms around and trying to body slam. At the end of the song Thom Yorke singles him out and starts asking him why he just sent a young girl flying. He wanted an answer about why this fella thought it was OK to beat people up as a form of dancing, especially when they were only half his size. He ended up calling him a dick and asking the girlif she was alright.

Proof positive that Radiohead do care about their teenage girl fans.

I think Thom Yorke is not the first artist to be serious to the point of being mistaken as an asshole. Is Jack Black really a musician?

There are really only a handful of bands that I would pay money to see live. Radiohead is at the top of the list.
