for the time that i have been here i didn't post much i just read the boards... and now i post alot i have got some good reps from alot of you thank you for them.i guess they can make you feel welcome when you get a good rep. and then maybe get you mad when you get a negative rep.. i did get one and they didn't leave a name and it did bug me beause i have no clue why he/she gave it to me. this is the one i got( you are a fool to support bannin innocent people)

The whole point of the rep system is the anonymity of it, surely. End of the day it doesnt affect anything important - not like more rep allows you into exclusive areas or anything like some forums.
I have got good rep with and without names, and the same for bad. My favourite was 'spamming shit', hence I have posted less in case more feel the same. Really though it doesnt bother me, and I just quite happily spam good rep to everyone in a thread as I know they like to get it
I think it would be very bad to see automatically who was giving it out though, as then you would just have some bitter neg repping going on, and serve to create little cliques on the board, in my opinion.

I support THFCMAD for naming jmgfour20. This member gave jizm bad rep and abused him by calling him a shithead. The guy has already been banned once for flaming when he insulted QBall and also made a nazi gesture.
As Jizm says, the bad rep is not the big deal but when people start calling you shithead, that's when it goes too far.

I think it's just human nature.Nobody complains when they get good rep.But when you get bad rep,it's like criticism.Some handle it well,some don't.I got my first bad rep yesterday.I don't really care about the points,but I would like to at least have the chance for rebuttal.They were correct in the fact that it was a repost and I appologize,but they were out of line calling me gay.I see pros and cons to both sides of this.c'est la vie.thfcmad said:
