Every ex-President will be there. They will bring some sort of relief. Monetarily and spiritually. Do not begrudge and compare. 500 billion dollars won't make the water go away tomorrow. The American people have this thing about rallying $5 donations into major efforts. Other countries kick in to give their support also just as we do for them. Money alone doesn't erase the damage of such disasters. Humans helping humans will always make these kinds of things a little easier to get over.
That really does sort of put things in perspective, doesn't it?
