i'm not sure how i did it bu my mouse (maybe in security settings) asks me to to "click to activate and use this control" when ever i find those types of links on any web site. can any one tell us how to set that?

I almost posted a reply saying I had no problems with the pop-up thing, but then I scrolled back up the page to have a look at it. When I did move my cursor near it, the damn thing opened up. Now it does that everytime, which is really annoying. I kind of like the way it opens up and looks, but I wish I had control over it opening up.

A couple of us started a thread on this,but the powers that be wont take it off.
They have to have their advertising i guess.I have learnt to put up with it,a small price to pay for a free site.

I tried that but I have a newer vervion than the 1.6 or lower,1.7 that that isn't good with that flashblocker so I went back and tried other extentions not finding a fklashblocker for 1.7 bu an ad block, and not sure if that's the same. Guess not because on this page that annoying ad is still going.

it worked for me instantly. that ad is long gone. in fact every web page i now visit loads faster because there is no more flash crap.

Anyway in the mean time swipe your mouse over the bottom left corner of the ad to fold it up. No need to left click. And carefully don't cross over that corner thereafter.

What version of firefox are you using because the download wouldn't let me add it to my 1.7 version on that particular download page.
