As for blame in the financial crisis, it WAS democrat policies that brought us there. It was Carter that started it,not Clinton. The Republicans were complicit by kicking more holes in an already sinking ship. People like Mariah will never admit it, because Obama has not done anything to make this country better and she knows it and passes the blame on Bush and the repubs. No sense in arguing this anymore.

You can push that argument but any serious economist will tell you that that is an oversimplification of what happened. The financial crisis was decades in the making and it was both liberal and conservatives policies that led to the crisis with the Fed being at the eye of the storm. I don't have the time to expound on this fully and i can't find any articles right now that I could cite but discussing the financial crisis and it's causes deserves it's own thread because of it's complexity

You should get your buddies at the Atlantic to proof read your musings before you post them. And I will address one more thing, predatory lending laws were tightened under republican stewardship. Citi Financial were sued by people like Obama to offer low income people mortgages which started the whole ball rolling. The fuck outta here with that shit.

Actually it malees sense. They keep telling us about how much of a dictator Obama is but as a dictator, he's pretty weak.
A real dictator would have :
- Executed Ted Cruz for his hours-long non-filibuster Obamacare speech.
- Executed Mitch McConnel for his comment about "denying president Obama a second term" comment
- Banned fox News
- Executed the 40 congressmen that send the letter to Iran
- Had Netanyahu shot by a sniper during his senate speech
- Declared the result of the last congressional election "null and void"
- Made it possiblr for him to run for a 3rd mandate
- Repealed the 2nd Amendment

2. GOP strengthen predatory lending laws? Can you be more specific because I'm sure what you're referring too and even so you're still under misapprehension if you think that it was only predatory lending that caused the crisis. You're not even mentioning the derivative markets, the low interest rates brought in by Greenspan and the Fed, CDOs, CDS, and a whole host of other issues. All of which both liberals and conservatives played a part in.

Imperialism does not denote success. Only the mindset. He has governed more like a dictator than any president before him. It is a testament to our constitution that he hasn't been able to do more, but it is not like he isn't trying. Imperial president fits him well even with his miserable failures.

Dictators, emperors or kings don't give a fuck about laws, constitutions, etc. They do not limit themselves to trying to get things done the way they want them to be done. The actually get them done. If a law stands between them and their agenda, they change or repeal it.
