It's the only way to get a guaranteed spot. For 2012, there's going to be limited spots into the Best OCSM category. I haven't decided on how girls will be picked, but members will be involved some how and activity in 2012 WILL be a factor. Girls who don't post in 2012 won't be eligable. Period.

So the OCSM of the Month is kind of a safety net (or immunity on the various reality shows). ;-)

Mind, this has zero effect on entry into the rest of the Miss FreeOnes contest, ONLY Best OCSM 2012.
