That's really a nice and healthy attitude. The Vern seems pretty cool. He likes you, so he obviously has impeccable taste too.
On to the subject of models and "wish lists." I probably tend to over psychoanalyze things, but the whole idea of having wish lists for their "fans" to buy them gifts got me to thinking. Now we all know there are plenty of "whack jobs" in cyberspace (no comments directed at me please.....ha ha ha!), and buying someone a gift is generally a very personal act, what are the dangers of accepting gifts from "fans" and the potential to embolden a delusional "fan" into thinking that buying said gift equated to taking a delusional relationship to a whole other level? Like I said, I know I tend to over psychoanalyze things.....but just the same....I'm just saying!
Now, Nikki, I saw your list, and yours was quite reasonable price range wise. However, I saw some models lists, and they had some reasonable things, but they also had items that were nearly $1000 or more. I saw 64 GB iPads, Plasma HDTVs, and other things. I almost guarantee that anyone who would buy something for someone that they really don't know that costs that much money, is REALLY delusional already. I mean, would anyone really spend that kind of money on someone they didn't know & not expect/hope for something in return.....albeit in their delusional minds??? Now, realistically, the models might have figured that nobody would actually buy the "high ticket items" for them, but like I said earlier......we all know there are plenty of "whack jobs" floating around in cyberspace!
