Damn! The Blues gave it up against the fuckin' Sharks again last night! No excuses but I find it interesting the the Blues played an OT game in Ottawa the previous night while the Sharks had 3 days off. Who makes up these schedules? Seems like every time we go on a west coast road trip, we don't play the Kings until last. Hmmmm....
Anyway, we'll never be a serious Cup contender until we prove that we can consistently beat the Pac Division teams. So far, Anaheim, San Jose and LA all seem to have our number. Depressing....

So tired of reading Penguins fans bitching about the Thornton incident. Oh, Thornton was way out of line and 15 games seemed right. That said, the Pens are no angels and their little cheap shots add up. They were too much a bunch of pussies to stand by their actions. Crosby, Malkin and the rest are a good team, but if they want to play like Vancouver East, then they need to be ready for the Eastern reaction.
I can't watch anymore... it hurts... Eakins is a bad coach... our management team is the worst in sports... our team is bad... this video pretty much sums it up:

He needs to stfu and realize the Oilers fans have every right to voice their displeasure over disappointing results. The Flames have less talent and more injuries but at least they try to compete. I still can't believe they came back from a 2 goal deficit and beat the Blues tonight in a shootout. :thumbsup:

Agreed. It's because I'm such a fan that I can't watch anymore. Watching them play the way they do and watching them lose time after time just hurts too much after a while. The fan throwing his jersey on the ice is indicative of the way that true Oiler fans feel right now. Fed up and done.

I'd agree with that. The West is deeper....maybe considerably. However, the best teams in the East are very capable of beating the best of the West on any given night. The west playoffs should be a bloodletting.....no pushovers in the top 8.
Yeah, I think the playoffs in the West are going to be very entertaining hockey. I have no television package, so I can't watch it at home, but I may end up at the pub quite a few evenings.

OMG what a game against the Hawks at Scottrade tonight!! Blues came back from a 5-3 deficit late in the 3rd to tie it up in regulation and then won in the shootout (I hate shootouts even though we won). What a friggin' game....I may have trouble sleeping tonight I'm so keyed up. Proud of my Blues.....they never gave up!!!
The highlights from that game make it look like it was a great one!

Ugh, Hawks were outplayed after the first period. Plain and simple.
It also didn't help that Chicago is on their third goaltender with Crawford and 76 year-old Nikolai Khabibulin both injured. I'm not going to fret over one loss, but it sucks losing to a division rival.
