Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Don't do that Marlo. I wouldn't want you to stop saying what it is you want to say. If you want to say "RED WINGS RULE!" every five seconds you should go ahead and do so. Seriously, this is NOT sarcasm.

As for Lidstrom being the greatest defenceman of all time, I'm really sorry, but NO FUCKING WAY IN HELL is he the greatest D-man of all time. You could put up a GREAT argument for him being the SECOND greatest D-man of all time, and I would be on your side if you did, but perhaps you're forgetting a man by the name of Bobby Orr, who just happens to be arguably the second greatest PLAYER of all time behind Gretzky (because face it, anyone who wants to claim that anybody is better than Gretzky is just trying to sound smart, but in the end you just sound stupid because no one compares, it's a fact, stats don't lie).

Sorry, Marlo, I'm not trying to pick on you here, I love your posts, but I have to ask whether or not you've even watched a single Penguins game all postseason long. You keep saying that their team isn't as good as last season, but it's so OBVIOUS that they're 239847234987 times better by watching them play. Ever since Bylsma took over after the firing of Therrien they've been a whole different team. Malkin is skating circles around EVERYONE right now and Crosby is crashing the net like a maniac and Guerin and Kunitz are finding him with perfect passes, their chemistry right now is a beautiful thing to watch. Crosby has NEVER scored goals at this pace before and I'm starting to think that he could put up 50 next season. Just because they lost a couple of good players doesn't necessarily mean they're not going to be as good a team and, again, by watching them you can clearly see that they're a much better team than they were last year. The other thing is Staal; this is the main reason I question whether or not you've even been watching the Pens to this point. Staal has been a monster. His job isn't to score, I don't know if that's what you're basing his success on, because he's been the best third-line forward in the NHL this postseason. His job is to check the other team's scoring line and he's done that brilliantly. The other thing is Crosby, I was by no means a Crosby fan prior to the start of this postseason, but I am now. He's demonstrated impressive leadership and poise all throughout these playoffs and has been a man on a mission, and that attitude has trickled down to the rest of the team and they've followed suit. Maybe you just have a blind hatred of Crosby, but I find it hard not to like him when he's playing the way he is.

That said, the Red Wings are definitely a much tougher team than what the Pens have faced thus far, so this Stanley Cup Final is going to be a good one and very close, but I don't want you going into it with any delusions about the Pens because they're going to be a tough team to beat. Prediction on the way.

I don't have to say Redwings rule every 5 seconds, I am just on here to defend my hometown Redwings all the time because of all the haters who are not shy about expressing themselves. its always something or another about the Redwings and everybody can't just accept their the best for a reason.

I am with you about Lidstrom, I think he is one of the best Defenseman of all-time. Bobby Orr played before my time. But his greatness is dually noted. I myself, think Lidstrom is too soft, Not physical enough, granted he is great, but, I think Physical intimidation is a key ingredient into determining the greatest of the great defensman.

As far as your prediction with the Pens winning in 7 games I totally disagree, btw I have watched the penguins whenever they've been on TV, Staal IMO is great player and your right, his scoring is down, & I was just basing my production analysis on that of the Hockey analysts on TV. Staal is a stud on D. Furthermore, I also respect your opinion of who gonna win cup. But all in all, I have to agree with what my fellow fan STDiva said basically word for word.. Redwings Will Win the cup again. :D but I will be a good sport about it. Goodluck to both teams. may the best team win. :glugglug::hatsoff:

That's the change that Babcock needed to make, as soon as the Red Wings started trying to score that way the series was over.

The game is on CBC in Canada, NBC in the States.

NBC? i love how they get in on the good action, but ignore the league most of the year.

how long can chelios play?

Since you have been watching the Pens play, do you still stick by your statement that they're not as good a team as last year?

I am positive the penguins were better with Hossa, Malone, & Armstrong. I think Crysby and Malkin have flourished in their teams new style of play. like I said without (Hossa, Malone, Armstrong) and Staal playing a more defensive role, that left the majority of the responsibiltiy to Crysby & Malkin, I just don't see either player putting up those kind of #'s against the Redwings. :nono: Redwings will shadow them. So a little long winded but I think the Penguins were better last year, they had more depth. Redwings still win this series, Penguins don't come to JLA and win. :nono: :2 cents::glugglug::hatsoff:

Red Wing fans, you should be lucky you avoided the Sharks.

How is that luck exactly? The Sharks got beat by the 8th seed. There is no shoulda, coulda woulda in the playoffs. You play the team in front of you. If you win, you are the better team.

Yeah the SHARKS were so Bad A$$ they couldn't even beat the 8th seeded Ducks, and those ducks took the Redwings to a 7th game. Sharks were Scary this year. Sorry chris.... but your spewing :bs: and you sound like a :conehead:. :D :rofl2: :hatsoff:

It's gonna come down to goal tending. Osgood, with so much experience, has the edge here, but Fleury was in the final last year, so he too has experience. As much as it pains me to say this, I believe the D-Town will win again, repeat. I'd say it will be a 6 game series, Detroit wins.

Why does it seem like the Wings get all the advantages? Every bounch, every dump in, every mistake just goes in the net! Here we go again... Pens looked so good and now they play with that look on their face like "How did we get here?"

Once again the Wings realize that it's a team effort. Helm, Abdelkader and Stuart played big time games. The stars have to produce but the games, quite often, come down to the third and forth lines.

And what was up with the no calls on the Pens?
