Luongo with a statement game tonight!
i havnt been following hockey like i should how are my red wings doing
That aside, how good of a goalie is Tim Thomas? Damn.
For a 35 year old he is doing quite well, also the Bruins got rid of Hunwick and traded Sturm to Los Angeles to free up some cap space.

He's (Tim Thomas) doing way beyond "quite well" for ANY age. 13-2-1, 1.44 GAA, .956 SV%, 5 SO. That's doing extraordinary, not just quite well. And it would be extraordinary for any goaltender of any age. Those are unthinkable stats. Even extraordinary isn't the right word; I don't think there is a word in English for how he's playing this season.
:surprise:
Um... they're in last place!
Yup, the great ship Detroit finally crashed. Turned out Howard is a bum and Lindstrom broke his hip...
are you serious wow
Heading to the Lightning game tonight against the Avs with Downie out for the season it is going to be a tough road lets hope we have a better night then we did against Boston
and Stamkos is still snake bitten. i'd like to thank whatever cock started the whole 50 goals in 50 games talk.
It wasn't you?
last year Tampa's defense was abysmal. they allowed more than 35 shots to reach the goalie per game. this year we allow the 2nd fewest in the league, 27.7.
with the offense and defense we have, if we can get good goal tending we're an absolute threat to ruin anybody's day.
Let's say for instance that they would make a move to get a guy like Mathieu Garon of Columbus , then they would be a possible cup contender.
