Lightning 2, Maple Leafs 0

Dwayne Roloson gets his 3rd shutout since coming to Tampa and we've now won 5 in a row

I was supposed to be at the game but because a water spout the bridge over to Tampa was closed but I watched from home and saw our boys win 5 in row before the break

Nice article.

Damn, PauLina Is a little hottie. And no, she doesn't look like Wayne, like some of those pussies are saying.Talk about being all skeeved out; fuckin' a girl and seeing Wayne Gretzky's face the whole time. No. She resembles a little, but no, she does not look like poppa.

BTW, don't know if I posted it here or not, but I have an authentic black Kings jersey I got for an 18th birthday present about a decade ago and Wayne signed it a couple years ago when Phoenix was in town. There were like 25 of us and only four got an auto. I was the fourth and last one and the signature looks awesome. I even have a polaroid of Gretz up close as he signs it. I don't think too many more people will ever get his auto; It's gotta be up there with a Jordan and Woods auto.

Canada's CBC and the NHL Players Association released a poll in which 318 NHL players took part and which showed the Tampa Bay Lightning the fifth most-popular choice as to which organization players want to play for. The top choices were the Canucks, Red Wings, Blackhawks and Rangers. But to be fifth? Especially considering where the franchise was the past few years is a testament to owner Jeff Vinik and general manager Steve Yzerman, not to mention the coaches and players who have transformed the organization from a doormat and made the place somewhere potential free agents will want to sign.

testament to the kind of organization Jeff Vinik and Steve Yzerman have turned the Lightning into. after the Oren Koules Hockey Group debacle, this makes me very happy

on a positive note, Nate Thompson gets a 2 year extension with the Lightning

The new jersey will have to grow on me too I like the colors but the logo could be better and that is sweet about Thompson getting a new 2 year deal he tyrell and hall have been a great line this year for us they may not score many goals but they kill penalties and score a goal here and there they own the only short handed goal we have this year mr. thompson

after looking at the new logo all day, it's growing on me. if you can imagine it as "old school" and not "comic book", it's fine

Leafs haven't lost in days have to be better in the second half

I rather like the new Tampa logo, though I think the shoulder patch should be the primary. I love logos when they include the phrase "hockey club" or "established whenever" on them. My favourite was the Senators logo back when they first came in, had the year the team was estabished in roman numerals. Classy.
