Very classy gesture by George Parros, I thought he was a douche on and off the ice, but the truth be told, some of the TOUGHEST guys are the coolest guys with the BIGGEST hearts.

I know quite a few NHL tough guys, both former and still active that really go out of there way to show there only MEAN as hell on the ice when there protecting there teammates! :surprise:

The good news is that they still are close to the top. And some teams that had great starts like the islanders , leafs and canadiens are either already sucking or will suck soon so...

My Sabres are 2nd to last right now. Only leading NJ by 1 miserly point.

Too many changes in the D IMHO and they're having a hard time adjusting - leaving Miller holding the sack (and he seems off his game too). Coupled with a severely under-performing offense, it doesn't seem to bode well for the high flying swordsmen.

BUT, I still confident they'll pull off a playoff berth and actually do better than they did last year.

Go ahead and laugh - I'd prefer to wait till March before I eat humble pie...
