Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Alrighty the end of my year long boycott of what we call the modern day NHL is now up, I still say the Penguins wouldn't have won the cup without the refs and Buttmans help and aid, but whatever.. I being mad and insist there was a blatant display of misconduct and collusion amongst Commisioner Buttman and the Referees will have too end..

That said, Chicago was LUCKY too win the cup last year.. All the expected heavies in the west and the East for that matter pussed out and Chicago took advantage.. My opinion no need to argue about it.. with that said

My Red wings open the 10/11 campaign with a 4 - 0 victory over the Ducks, Yay for a convincing Win, Shutout style @ that, But unlike some of the others that get all elaborate with picking who will win each conference and what place they will finish and all of the playoff winners, and all of the individual awards to be handed out (pretty cool Rodfarva) I will just say Chicago will not win the cup again this year, they may not even finish amongst the top 5 in the conference, they've over hauled their roster way too much too be considered a major threat in the West this year, I know there is a core, but still the whole identity and chemistry of that team is different from last season, and without Niemi, who did a Patrick Roy in net for them is gone, Chicago will be sorry...

I see Vancouver and Detroit being the front runners in the West, Detroit has allot of there horses back from injury, and there depth is back 3 solid scoring lines to roll. aside from Osgood who is the backup, Lidstrom who can play until the end of time, every night, and Modano, Detroit isn't that old.. but I will say this in finishing my thoughts, if QUEEN PUSSY KEN HOLLAND doesn't get and dress a HEAVYWEIGHT SHERRIF into this mostly EUROPEAN style hockey teams lineup, they might not last the entire season if everybody attacks all the elite players the Red Wings rely on..

If I am the opposing teams coach, I would just be telling my team (in a smart, tactical way) to go after Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom and company and try and throw them off there game. I mean FFS, and Gawd bless em' may he R.I.P. In loving memory of # 24 Bob Probert a all-time Red Wings favorite and his Brother of dealing out Bruises and blood spilling, his right hand man # 26 Joey Kocur... they better get and get some GOT DAMN protection for the stars.. After what I saw tonight, (way to go Datsyuk for fighting like a MAN) I am sick of the Red Wings being the league's softest fuckin team.. Sorry for the novel but I've been gone a whole year and half, I had lots too say.. well thats it for now, until the next time. Lets enjoy the new season and, from me to everybody else, goodluck too your team!!

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Just too get the season kicked off with a bang! :elaugh:

I am not trying to HIJACK this thread (U Know this STDiva, but I propose we, everybody who posts in this thread should start posting stuff like this more often!) instead of talking about a sick hit or a sweet goal, or an Awesome Fight post those MF'ers so we can all see it!!!
:D:2 cents::glugglug:

I realize I forgot to include one prediction:

Norris Trophy - Drew Doughty (LA)

And also, I would like to change my original prediction of Stamkos winning the Hart Trophy:

Hart Trophy - Anze Kopitar (LA)

Now, I swear I'm done.

Well now that rodfarva was kind enough to post his own predictions, I feel secure enough to do the same.

Western Conference
1. Vancouver Canucks (This is their year. Chicago has been dismantled, San Jose might have goalie problems, Los Angeles isn't quite ready yet. By far the best chance Canada has had to return the Cup home since '93.)
2. Los Angeles Kings (The first of many to come, I predict.)
3. Detroit Red Wings
4. San Jose Sharks
5. Chicago Blackhawks
6. Nashville Predators (No one gives this team any credit. They are one of the better teams in the league and if Rinne plays well they could be a surprise pick in the Central.)
7. Phoenix Coyotes
8. St. Louis Blues
9. Colorado Avalanche
10. Anaheim Ducks
11. Calgary Flames
12. Edmonton Oilers
13. Columbus Blue Jackets
14. Minnesota Wild (Prediction: there will be several games this season that are not sold out.)
15. Dallas Stars

The surprise might be Anaheim or Edmonton.

Eastern Conference
1. Washington Capitals
2. Pittsburgh Penguins
3. Boston Bruins
4. New Jersey Devils
5. Philadelphia Flyers
6. Buffalo Sabres (It's going to be a total traffic-jam again this year in the lower Eastern Conference; five points will seperate 6-13)
7. Tampa Bay Lightning
8. Atlanta Thrashers
9. New York Rangers
10. Montreal Canadiens
11. Carolina Hurricanes
12. Ottawa Senators
13. Toronto Maple Leafs
14. New York Islanders
15. Florida Panthers (Fucking Panthers. I want to see them succeed so badly.)

The surprise might be Carolina.

Stanley Cup final will be Vancouver Vs. Washington or Boston.

Hart Trophy - Miller
Ross Trophy - Ovechkin
Richard Trophy - Ovechkin
Vezina Trophy - Rinne
Calder Trophy - Paajarvi
Adams Trophy - Craig Ramsay (Thrashers)

Beating Buffalo's sorry fucking asses! Making Miller look like a rook. Serves them right for making me watch with the sound off. Fuckin pricks.

The Bruins put me to sleep today, they need defense big time! Or it is going to be a long painful season!

Tampa Bay 5, Atlanta 3

when the god awful OK Hockey Group started out as owners of the Lightning it took at least 5 games to get the first win.

good one tonight.

Leafs 2-0 lmao! It'll be funny to listen to the local sports radio station here in Toronto this coming week when all the bipolar fans jump on the bandwagon.

:1orglaugh

:1orglaugh Yeah I saw it! Then Avery showed the ref what he did! There's no way he's gay, its too obvious.

I think the fact that he doesn't give a shit about what people say makes him a tough guy.

How bout that Stepan, hat trick against Buffalo. One of those Minnesota kids I was talking about.

Yeah he's gonna be good. There was all that talk that he might go 1st overall, but if he keeps that up he will be good. That kid will be on the olympic team in about four years.

"""""4. Philadelphia (if their goaltending weren't a question mark, I would predict a Cup for this team, but it is, so I can't)""""""""

80% of the fans in Philly had a BIG ? going into the season:dunno: ...
Now its: "What about Bob?"
http://www.chickswhogiveapuck.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Bobrovsky-640x250.png

Yeah, what about Bob? How can he be defined as anything but a question mark? He's played two games and all of a sudden the goaltending situation in Philadelphia has been solved? Come on. The overwhelming probability is that Bobrovsky amounts to very little in the NHL; he was undrafted. How can you not look at Philadelphia's goaltending situation as a question mark? If Bobrovsky ends up being an amazing goaltender then that's great for him, but it's highly unlikely.
