The rest of the games they played ,the goalies always let at least 1 soft goal sometimes 2 or more. Last night , Fleury let in 4 goals on 13 shots and 3 of those 4 goals where very soft goals. Montreal had only 20 shots total and Pittburgh had 39. Halak was great as always and Fleury played like crap ( again ) . So there you have it. Now how about facing a great goalie Montreal ?

The other way to look at that is to say that Montreal capitalised on the weaknesses of the teams they've played. Montreal didn't get to where they are only because the goalies they've faced have been bad. They've done a better job of going to the net more, and their defence has been really connecting. They just shut down Crosby and co., and that's no easy thing to do.

Golf is fun. I am impressed with the canadiens and they deserve to be in the eastern conference finals I would like them see them play the bruins because they are rivals from the original six days.

I know this is late, but did anybody see the Montreal goal where he just skated by Gonchar on the left side? Gonchar wasn't even trying. WTF was that??? He just let him go right by. Sad.

There's a difference.

Boston will be the greater chokers if they lose Game 7 on home ice. Maybe the B's need to put Lucic on the top line for the first period? Try to get that 1st goal...:dunno:

Yes it is. ;) I can play to around a mid-single digit when I play more regular (and I apply myself) but more than anything I don't have as much time for it anymore. All the buds are all married now (or the missus has them on a leash). :tongue:

Part of me wants it to be (almost) all original six, but part of me loves the Flyers. It's inconsequential who wins to me in the East, TBH. I'm just stunned the B's have lost a 3-0 lead in the series; totally unacceptable. If they get to the finals they are just not hot enought to win it all, IMO.

Chicago versus Boston or Montreal would be the shit though. Man, I'd be so tempted to get so lit off while watching those games though, I'd probably wind up on a ruthless one week binge. :( Meh, I have self control! :D

Christ. Are French Canadians desperate for success or what? It's only the Semi Finals. I'll give credit to Calgary and Edmonton; when they got this far, at least they didn't turn violent (I think?).
