arrivederci Koci.

David Koci goes to Colorado. guess our designated tough guy is now Evgeny Artyukhin. but, Arty puts up points too, so no worries.

"I've always contended that #4 will be here... We've never contemplated any trade for Vinny Lecavalier" - Tampa's GM Brian Lawton from a press conference today

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this one yet, but Scott Clemmensen has signed with the Florida Panthers. Poor guy will probably have to serve as a backup again after stepping in for Brodeur last season and playing exceptionally well.

Pavel Kubina has been traded to the Atlanta Thrashers. The Leafs get Garnet Exelby and Colin Stuart. The Thrashers also received the rights to Tim Stapleton.

Mike Komisarek plays good D don't know too much about Exelby & Stuart.
Leafs need some one who can put the puck in the net:thumbsup:

They'll lose to Detroit in the playoffs. And Hossa will change his last name to Irony.

Yes, with Hossa the Blackhawks will lose to Detroit in the Western Conference Finals or they will lose to Pittsburgh in the Stanley Cup Finals. Either way Chicago has decided they don't want the Stanley Cup.

Completly serious.
Do you really think Artyukhin is a better fighter than Brookbank?
Btw,a win against Kostopolous isn't much to brag about.:1orglaugh

Brookbank is tough, no doubt. But Arty has sheer power. it's easy to see when he uses it.

and i know beating Kostopolous wasn't a big deal, but youtube only has so many videos i felt like searching through

But I still think they will rely on Walker to take care of the big boys...
