Glad to say so far everything I'm reading about it, including from other Pats haters, is that the story is a joke.

Bob Kravitz used to write for the Indy Star. He isn't so much a NE hater as he is a huge Colts homer. He did NFL picks every week in the early 90s when they were awful, and even then he was picking them to win almost every week.
But even Bob admitted that it wouldn't have affected the game last night. Fuck, NE could have been using beach balls last night and probably had the same result. This is a complete non-story as far as I'm concerned.

I say that jackass Green Bay defender is what lost Green Bay the game. It wasn't any Russell magic. That idiot Green Bay defender seemed to have chalked up that play to being over because Russell was seemingly in a shit quicksand pit scrambling for his life. So, that defender put his effort in neutral or more like in PARK and practically sat down to have himself a picnic. That ball seemed to be floating up there forever and that dumbass defender made zero effort to remotely attempt to block it even though he was very much definitely there in position to have easily broken up the reception.animus fox said:

It only took 2 years of real success for people to start hating the Seahawks? Granted they are not my team but they put on a beautiful display of how football should be played IMO. I hope the Panthers are as hated in the near future.

All of my hate is reserved for the Redskins, Eagles and the Patriots (more so Belichick than the team). As far as the Seahawks go I really just don't give a shit.

As a lifelong Raiders fan who has watched the franchise sink to depths that would make James Cameron cringe, I have been following the Patriots closer. I have given them the benefit of the doubt. No more. It makes no sense to b as talented as they are and to continually put their reputation at stake. To cheat simply for the sake of pushing the envelope is ridiculous and selfish. The NFL needs to crack down on them, but what makes it hard is there is no one person to blame. It s actually part of the beauty of the NFL. Rules are broken, minimal punishments are handed out and before the backlash can reach a tsunami, there will be another big event or controversy to quell the masses and divert their attention.
