The NFL could have games every day of the week that they don't already (Tues, WED, FRI, SAT) & the ratings will always be high. & I agree with Animus Fox about the NCAA BB tourney. The excitement of watching Bum Fuck Egypt Tech beating say Kentucky or North Carolina once & sending the "NAME" school packing adds drama & excitement. (Though BFET would obviously lose a 7 game series to a "NAME" school.

These are the best 4 teams in the league now. Both games should be exciting, but probably polar opposites.
Denver-NE high scoring, SF & Seattle a low-scoring defensive battle.

Go Niners!

I am continuing my prayers that Peyton doesn't advance. All those inane Chuck Norris sayings will be applied to Manning. "Peyton Manning can audible, without saying a word." "Omaha didn't need a Board of Tourism until Peyton started saying it on TV." He is fantastic, I get it, but love the fact that he is now tied with Tim Tebow in playoff wins as a Bronco, and has the same winning percentage.

Not today, Brady.

Peyton torched the Pats today. I'd love to see Peyton win one more, but not against my Niners. Hopefully we can get passed the Seahawks and stop the Broncos.

Out of all the teams that played today San Francisco would be the least one I would want to win the Superbowl. They have turned into a very dislikeable team this year. Their coach is a douche when he's not crying about something like a spoiled child, their QB is getting to be a jerk, and it seems the rest of the team are starting to take on those people's aspects. Any doubts about that were laid to rest last weak and how San Fran acted. Not that Seattle is the highpoint in the league when it comes to sportsmanship. They might be one of the worse also, but they are an order of magnitude better than the 49ers right now in that area.

I agree with most of this. The 49ers were my favorite team growing up (along with Indy, but they were never any good then), and those teams from the 80s and 90s usually won with class. I don't see them as a classy organization right now. Harbaugh is an annoying, obnoxious douche, and the rest of the team does way too much trash talking for an organization that hasn't won a title in almost 20 years. Boldin might be the worst. Dude, just shut the fuck up and play. Why are you jawing with someone after every catch? Every see Jerry Rice do that?

I think Seattle is just as bad in terms of sportsmanship. And Pete Carroll might be my least favorite coach in the league.

Wow, it's pretty obvious that Seattle doesn't know how to win with class. Clearly, they can't act like they've been there (before because they haven't). Sherman is a punk. Straight up. A perfect example of a player behaving like his coach. I can't wait to see them get thoroughly shredded by Denver.

Congrats to all the Seahawks bandwagon fans (the only kind they have) and enjoy this run while it lasts. Everyone outside of your obnoxious city will be rooting for the Broncos.

Bandwagon fans are worst thing in sports but you my friend may stick your statements wayyyy up your arse.

Been a Seahawk fan for over 30 years and there are many many more just like me.

You would give your left nut for Sherman to be on your team, whoever that is, or are you one of those Cub fans that enjoys making excuses for always sucking??????

Go Seahawks!!!

All my teams did pretty well this year and produced nicely having solid seasons, although Jay was somewhat of a disappointment by, as usual, again getting owned by Green Bay. Nevertheless, I was 100% on my Super Bowl picks as well, no long shot picks obviously, but yet the early-ness of my picks provided a steady return in the long run !

Skins did a little worse than I expected but, like I said, I never bet on them anyways…In any event, I guess I can afford to loose a little at this point ….so GO SEAHAWKS !

My 3 favorite QB/teams, The Pats, The Bears, and The Saints, are all producing and doing well early …I think they will all have good seasons and make me a lot of money.

My home team, the Redskins aren't doing that well, RG3 is looking a little better each week (although they should have kept him out at least thru December to re-habilitate his knee), but the defense is horrible. Also I think letting go Donte Stallworth, a team leader and solid professional, was a big mistake.

The skin's losing is really not a big disappointment though, I always expect the skins to suck and be around 6-10 or 8-8 each year so I hardly ever bet on them. Last year was a miracle run that will be hard to top, especially with their schedule this year, but I still hope they will play better as the season progresses.

Jay Cutler had one of his better games last night, but his big test will be in the playoffs, and the rival games against teams like Green Bay that normally kick his ass.

Denver and Seattle look like the early Superbowl Favorites.

Well played. I had both losers today straight up, with the points, and the parlay. Hopefully I'll get lucky in the pool I'll be running at my brother's man cave. 2 TVs with couch and bar seating. Dart board and pool table. I'm bringing my curry batter dipped shrimp.

I'm glad we don't have to see hissy-fit Harbaugh's sideline antics in the Super Bowl. Richard Sherman probably learned some of his douche bag behaviors from his college coach, lol.

Robbery? In what way?? Please explain.

You're a Seattle fan so you clearly didn't see the terrible officiating. Roughing the kicker, blatant holding on the Baldwin return. Bowmans inexplicable non fumble recovery. Every questionable call went Seattle's way. Refs are making up for 2005 I guess.

It happens to every team, but I really believe all of Harbaughs antics and bitching have hurt the team when these tick tack calls come up. It's the Mark Cuban effect. The past calendar year has seen some insane calls go against the Niners. PI in the Super Bowl. Roughing the passer in New Orleans. The refs desperately trying to keep the Packers in the divisional round. Now this game. There is an obvious vendetta against San Fran. I'm actually beginning to question the authenticity of the NFL as a whole.

I don't believe the better team won, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I hope Denver wins, but I don't think their receivers can deal with this secondary. Too soft. I hope I'm wrong. Don't want to see Carroll win.

Seattle 31 Denver 21

The Refs sucked both ways all night. Seattle had a drive stalled on a phantom holding call in the first half, San Fran had a drive continued on another phantom hold call?? You got nothin but sour grapes let it go. They will never make up for 2005 biggest scam in the history of sports.

Go Seahawks!!!

Normally, I would pick the better defense to win the game. The problem is that Wilson hasn't had a good game in over a month and Denver has too many weapons. I'm going to say Denver 27 Seattle 17.
