Felt like I was watching the 2006 Vikings in that second half with all that bad coaching. Try opening up the passing game and changing the defensive playcalling once in a while!

WTF happen top the Steelers today, damm my Ravens gave them a punch in the mouth. Joe Flacco and Ray Rice look great today and we were throwing the ball more. Ed Reed picked off Roethlisberger 2 two times. If the Ravens can played like this we could win the AFC North

I'm loving the defense. Almost reminds of the super bowl defense we had. Cary Williams is becoming one of my favs.

im surprised at some of these performances so far. The Steelers, colts and Falcons have been the big shock so far. If Houston doesnt win the AFC South they will have to get rid of Gary Kubiak. Jax punted on its chances by cutting their starting QB, The colts have no Peyton Manning for the first 7 games at least, and the Titans are rebuilding

I actually think mccown isn't to bad. It's not like garrard was all that good.

Colts and Chiefs are the worst performers so far today. Living in KC I knew the chiefs would suck, they looked pretty bad in preseason! As for the Colts its obvious, No Manning equals disaster!

I'd have to put the steelers on top of that list. 7 turnovers and only 7 points.... Ouch! :D

Well in all fairness raven I did make that post at Halftime, the Steelers were only losing by a possession when I posted that but yeah I would have to agree, 7 turnovers is just inexcusable! lol

I don't like the Bears (I'm a Packer fan so it's a law ;) ) but I have to give them their props they looked great today! Impressive win over those damn dirtybirds!

--If anybody else thinks Indy can live w/o Manning, live without food.
--The Lions. The Lions. The Lions. So far, they ain't lyin'.
--Don't get excited, Philgulls. It was only the Rams.
--Gotta give Grossman credit. He outplayed Eli--the self-proclaimed Top 5 QB in the NFL.
--Minnesota is improved? Or the Bolts had to scratch back in again.
--Wow. Cleveland is pretty bad.
--On that note...don't fret, Steelers. At least you have the Browns and Bengals in your division.

Oh that's my bad. I should have looked at the post's time.

The one and only.
:clap:I don't mind that the experts aren't picking the Bears to contend. The Bears can just do their thing under the radar, let GB get all the pressure.

Yeah, cause GB isn't used to playing under pressure.

They only won the fucking SB last year. And if I remember right, their QB led to them to victory. The Bears QB, a giant vagina, sat on the sidelines and watched his team lose. Maybe the pressure got to him...

One win for the Bears. Congrats. I'll still be rooting against them next week. And the week after that, and the week after that.

Chargers win, Cowboys lose...my whole week will be truly fun once the Raiders or Broncos lose, unfortunately one of them has to win.

Damn, Cam Newton played on helluva game today. Too bad they lost. You could see the Cardinals defense starting to get frustrated at the end by the fact that he tore their asses to shreds in his NFL debut game.

......oh, and Romo still blows!

That's my point, everybody is coming for them since they are the champs. Everybody has GB repeating as champions. Fine by me as a Bears fan, nobody is really expecting the Bears to do anything this year so they fly under the radar.

If anybody has ever had a thought experiment about what it would be like to have one of the best players to ever play the game be replaced by an aged Kerry Collins got to see the results of it, today they got what they wanted, and it's not pretty. This will be a very long year for the Colts and their fans.

In the Detroit game Stafford can infuriate you. He can be competent for long stretches, have flashes of brilliance, and then comes the, "what the hell are you thinking" moments from him. The Detroit defense seemed very solid,...up until the point they pretty much went semi-prevent which really irritated me. After decades I'm still surprised defensive coordinators still haven't learned not to do that, especially when what they were doing was working so well.

The only other game besides the Detroit one I got to see was the Vikings/Chargers game. I wasn't really impressed with either team.

Things like "flying under the radar" are only relevant from a fan perspective. In the actual playing of a sport it doesn't help any team win, or if it does it's extremely rare, since all teams put in pretty much the same time preparing for their next team (baring a bye week to give them extra time), all teams almost always take their opponents seriously this level, and also know their opponent's capabilities.
