NFL '10/'11 Season Thread.

I would've laughed at this a couple of years ago. I ain't laughin' anymore.

49ers v Green Bay in the NFC Championship?:dunno:

That'd be sweet. I use to hate the Packers, and it would be cool too get that hate started up again with another rivalry.

Here is my predictions.

What's even more shocking is that I wouldn't be surprised if the Raiders don't do too bad this year.

Judging from whats been coming out of training camp, and looking at the AFC West this year, the Raiders just might make it out of the cellar this year.:bigjump:

Good point. Maybe the Broncos and Chargers take steps back and the Raiders?? actually win the AFC West?:surprise::facepalm: :surprise:

The weak division. Look out for Baltimore in the conference. The Bengals might surprise.

If my Raiders fail to avoid double digit losses (7 wins), then I'll be massively disappointed. We gotta beat the shit teams. Last year we followed up big wins with terrible losses. And I hope there's an actual competition for the starting QB. I'm not sold on Jason Campbell being all that much better than Bruce Gradkowski.

I'm originally from NJ so it make me feel good to say this, I got to go with the J-E-T-S-jets jets jets taking the AFC and those damn Cowboys in the NFC.
Should be a good season in which Revis will play in.

I'm not sure Revis will be playing this year given his contract demands.
the Ravens secondary is very suspect Fox is out for the year, Reed is going to miss the first 6 games and Webb and Washington are still recovering from torn ACL's that's your top 3 corners and number 1 Safety. I wouldn;t punch those playoff tickets just yet.
The Raiders could finish anywhere from 6 to 9 victories depending on how well the Receivers play their defense could be quite good

I would think Baltimore would have the best chance of winning the division, but they are just getting hit hard with injuries before the season even starts. It makes me wonder now.

I didn't pick the Jets because I don't think Revis is playing this year. Without him....hello Miami :wave2: in the AFC East

Similar reason for why I don't like Minny this year. The Vikings would probably make the playoffs with Favre, but definitely won't with the two schmoes they have on the roster now...

BTW...just saw this funny commercial on ESPN:

And the fact that your a Miami fan :1orglaugh

Damn Stefan Johnson. Tough break for him. He really took a nasty leg injury tonight. He was the Trojan player who dropped the weight and shattered his throat. He was signed by Tennessee and played against Seattle/Pete Carroll.

I watched some of the Miami/Tampa game. Damn, Miami looked like crap. I think the Fish will be hitting practice hard this week

yeah Stefan Johnson fractured his ankle.
Brandon Marshall has a 4yr deal in place with Miami
if Farve retires Minnesota should trade for Mike Vick,he will be better than either current qb

Damn I know. Poor guy. I hope he makes it back. He is a true warrior to comeback to the game and make the cut in the NFL after taking an injury that kills 99% of the time.
