Raiders fan. We need a WR first and foremost. Then a no. 2 CB. This is assuming we stick with Gradkowski at QB, otherwise that'd be need number 3.
Also, Mike Martz. Huge. Huge.
With the 13 and 16/17th pick, I hope the 49ers grab 2 of the following.
Bryan Bulaga OT, Iowa - Get Alex Smith some time to throw the ball. Maybe prevent a sac or two. Or 9.5
Earl Thomas FS, Texas - The defense is going to be tight, but a ball hawk like Thomas could make it elite.
Everson Griffen DE, USC - We have no pass rush. Griffen will help. Plus, the more Trojans the better.
Taylor Mays SS/OLB, USC - This might be a reach. He will probably be available in the 2nd round. His stock has dropped after the Trojans fail season.
C.J Spiller RB, Clemson - They need a big play threat. Spiller is this years Percy Harvin. He'd make their offense better and their league worst return game. RB isn't a big need for them though. Might be better to wait and grab Jahvid Best out of Cal in the 2nd round.
I wouldn't be opposed to drafting a mid/late round QB to sit develop for a year or so either. LeFevour, Snead, Perrilloux. Although I like Nate Davis. We'll see. Our D is going to be top 5 in a year or two. Our offense is goin to open up with Vernon Davis, Gore, Coffee, Crabtree and Morgan. We need a QB lead them. Smith and Hill are not the answer.
That's half of the problem though; the Browns have had two quarterbacks for far too long now. They need one established quarterback who can take control of the team. The whole two quarterback system is part of the reason that our team sucks so bad. Why? Because, without one established quarterback, you are left with two mediocre quarterbacks, neither of which has the ability to take control of a team. The team can't get comfortable if they don't KNOW who their quarterback is and it is clearly visible that the Browns offense isn't comfortable or confident with the quarterbacks that they are given. One week it's Quinn, the next week it's Anderson, the next week it's back to Quinn...it's so stupid and aggravating. Pick one, stick with him and let the team come together.
i just hope the Redskins do not under any circumstances draft a qb. we need o-lineman like 6 or 7 new ones not a qb. i bet Campbell will be better with a real o-line and some time to throw

That depends on Al Davis. If some dude runs a fast 40 then he'll probably pick him over the team's needs.
I'm excited for the Lions this year. I'm not a fan or anything, but since I live across the river, I go watch them a few times a year. With a solid draft, I think they'll have a big improvement. Grab Suh, and a couple O-Lineman and things will look positive for the first time in years.
I'm curious to see what Seattle does. They need a QB--maybe Matt Leinart would look nice in the neon green/turqoise :thefinger Or, they could draft the Hometown Hero, Mr. Taylor Mays, and basically send a message to the NFC West that passes in the middle of the field are offlimits.
"Grab Suh"? Detroit won't have a chance at him. The Rams will take him as the first pick....at least they had better! He's the best player in the draft so....hmmmm....maybe you're right! The Rams personnel department hasn't exactly done a sterling job of picking talent in recent years. If they end up taking Jimmy Clausen, I may burn my Rams jersey.

This might be the year that the #1 pick is traded. Suh might be the next Sapp but after him, everyone else has a few ???? about them. If we can make a case for 10 guys to be the #1 pick that means there really isn't a standout player. :dunno:
St Louis needs impact players. They need to draft someone who will contribute from Day 1. Maybe that is Suh and figure a decent QB can be had in Rd 2 or 3....
