Probably has something to do with them being of the same (generally speaking) genetic makeup? :dunno: Comparing oranges to oranges, so to speak?

I heard about a "Jewish Jordan" some time back, but I can't remember who that was (Farmar???). I've heard of comparisons like such.

As far as Fredette, if he's even remotely like the last guy who was white, Mormon, and came out of BYU, he will be a HOFer.
That guy just happened to crush the NBA all time assists record. Everyone is writing him off saying he won't be shit in the league but the kid is just bananas the way he can shoot, but he will never be another Bird. There will never be another Bird.

i dislike player comparisons, esp. as it relates to the greatest players. Micheal Jordan made his own legacy, he should not be compared to any of the stars of today, especially since NOBODY has his game. Bird also made his own legacy to greatness, he doesnt deserve to be compared to Dirk, nor does anyone else.

worst thing about this years playoffs...Flopping, altho its never really gone away, has made a comeback.
So many guys who should get emmy nominations for Best Actor

Derrick Rose and clutch free throw shooting...they dont go together, first at Memphis now in Chicago (and John Calipari says free throw shooting is not important)

At the end of all this, it comes down to the fact Miami is just a better team, they play 48 minutes, not 36...thats what decided this series

This loss hurt real bad. They had this game in the bag and then they just choked, plain and simple. If I'm Gar Forman, Bulls GM, my number one goal in the off season is to find a second option for Rose, preferably a 2 guard.

Free throw shooting is absolutely critical. It's FREE shots. I can count in my head hundreds of games that were decided upon free throws.

It's going to be hard but...DALLAS ALL THE WAY, bitch!

Congrats to the Heat. They definetly earned that spot in Finals. The Bulls just flat-out choked, and I'm interested to see what they and OKC will do to pursue revenge.

anyone who keeps Larry O' Brien out of Mark Cubans hands will be my hero. If theres one owner who should never have a championship its him

The Bulls will be back next year, I guarantee it. We might be seeing this matchup against the Heat for the next five years or so.

As much as I dislike Cuban's flamboyant presence as an owner, from what I hear he takes incredibly good care of his players. And honestly, other than the Suns, is there another team more deserving (outside of the Kings of Jazz :1orglaugh) of a title?

Wow... how sweet was that? I thought for sure this was going to a game 6. I came very close to burning my D-Wade jersey, but he finally came through. I knew at one point he was going to snap out of it, just glad it game in the closing minutes.

Dallas is going to be very tough. After the Lakers sweep I thought they were the best team in the playoffs and my opinion hasn't changed. I just hope we get great production out of the bench.

I'll probably get killed for saying this, but I think D-Rose should move to the 2. If Chicago can get Chris Paul I think that will be a great fit.

Yes you are going to get killed for that statement. Yes he's not a "true" point guard but that doesn't make him any less of a player. Plus you don't want to move him to the 2 guard spot since he's undersized. Adding Paul would only make things worse as you would have a small back court.

I predicted Mavericks Vs. Heat a few weeks into the season when the Mavs were playing great. Didn't think it would come true though after the Lakers, Spurs and Bulls all started playing up to their level. If I remember correctly, the Mavs were the team that snapped Miami's mid-season winning streak. Hopefully the Mavs can win this one. Dirk needs that ring.

Too bad your Canadian (Nash) isn't still on the team. Who did the Mavs get for him anyway? It's been so long I can't even remember.
