The nation mourns as the streak was stopped by those fucking choke masters the Dallas Mavericks :weeping:

LeBron was off, but DWade was actually worse. I don't know what's up with him. Does he even want to be out there anymore? :dunno: He and LeBron don't look like BFFs--they look like nothing more than co-workers :weeping: How about some excitement out there guys!

Dallas is probably the best team in the league. Certainly the best defensive team in the league. No shame there.

Sorry t-rock, but you know nothing about the Heat.

How was D-Wade worse? Did you even watch the game? The Heat played a lot better when Lebron was out of the game. Every time Lebron went on the bench the Heat went on a big run with Wade leading the way. Wade has been the Heat's best player during this streak.

Did D-Wade have a great night? No... but no one did. This is just one game, stop freaking out. The Heat will be just fine.

NO Will! The Heat are supposed to go undefeated. You hear me???

Rick Carlisle = Most underappreciated and underrated coach

Pistons never shoulda got rid of him. I bet he coulda won more than just 1 championship with that team.

I'm with you.

LeBron James: 24.5 points on 47.0 %
Dwayne Wade: 23.6 points on 49.0 %

Where is the discrepancy???

I have watched about half or so and DWade consistently FUCKS UP  And it's not all the missed shots it's the turnovers, too. Maybe he turns it over only in crunch time. He used to be known as a Closer, but all he can do now is close the door on the bathroom stall as he drops...another...mess...

LeBron is clearly the MVP of the team (atleast when I watch). Yes LeBron stunk it up last night. I give him a pass considering he's carried the team the last week or so--Did you watch Cleveland, the Knicks...oh, nevermind!

When will DWade actually show up? I'm still waiting....:anonymous

Do you know why the Heat have won 12 games in a row? It's because D-Wade stepped up his game. He's been averaging 27 points per game and had a FG% of 59%.

Did you watch Cleveland, the Knicks...oh, nevermind!

The Heat nearly lost to the Cavs, but D-Wade scored 17 in the 4th to win the game. And the Knicks... D-Wade and Bosh both scored 26.

The only thing Wade did bad last night was not close the game. For some reason he wasn't aggressive. I was waiting for him to take over the game but he didn't. But then again, no one did. The Mavs did a great job forcing Wade to be a jump shooter and not letting him get to the line.

Lebron was clearly the weak-link last night. The Heat were outscored by 20 when Lebron was on the court. He was just holding on the ball and turning it over. For some reason, Lebron has been a better jump-shooter than driver. He wasn't hitting his jump-shot, so he was pretty much just a lost cause.

The only reason there was a streak was because LeBron pretty much got it going. See the Cleveland Massacre. The second Cleveland game WAS NOT THAT CLOSE. I watched that game. They were never in danger of losing that game. They should not have beaten The Wiz, but thanks to LeBron, they escaped with the win. Where was DWade in that game? I know. Sucking. I watched him.

I get that LeBron was going to try to be a ballhog and a scorehog in the beginning of the season especially since DWade was mysto during the entire preseason. But now's the time for them to take off. Big Z is playing well. Bosh is playing well. I'm a little concerned that Eddie House is out of the rotation. Mike Miller might be prematurely put INTO the rotation. Everyone RAVES about his 3pt shooting. I haven't raved about it. Let me see it first.

Atleast the Heat aren't Orlando and hitting the PANIC BUTTON and :flame: Blowing up:flame: their team :thefinger

How many losses are in store for the Magic now that they're starting over? I'm thinking 4 - 11 for the next 15 games for them.

Are you serious!? So Wade gets no credit for the streak? He been the most consistent and efficient player during that stretch.

They weren't in danger until Wade took over.

You give Lebron and Bosh their credit, but why not Wade?

If you watched the Heat during this streak (like I have), you would know that Wade's been the biggest factor. Whenever Wade plays bad, the Heat lose. But when he plays great, they usually win. Wade's obviously the most important player for that reason.

Basketball is a game for sissies.--Ty Cobb

--Give the Dallas Mavericks credit for ending yet another team's winning streak. This time the victim was the Heat. Rick Carlisle has been requested by the Queen Mother for knighthood.
--Turns out Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov is the richest NBA owner. Not bad for a guy who hustles high class prostitutes. Hey...that might be a lucrative sidebar for basketball!
--Golden Stater Monta Ellis may be the best player in the NBA that nobody talks about. He scored 44 points in a losing effort against Houston. That was his third 40+ game this season. Hey, Cleveland...better check and see when his contract is up.
--It's Gilbert Arenas to the Magic. He got Shaq's old locker. But Orlando officials point out that metal detectors will be installed at the players' entrance starting next season.

And, finally...

--Nugget Carmelo Anthony is edging toward New Jersey, with the promise of a 7-year contract good for 35 million rubles and unlimited prostitutes.

Who gives a shit, as long as we're rolling going into the Playoffs.

I'm not sure when it's gonna happen, but we will have a monster stretch where we win something like 22 of 25 or something. Mark it down.

my early selection for the nba finals are
Boston vs Dallas

Thats right no Lakers or Heat

I never said he was bad in the CLE 2 game. I just said that wasn't a close game, as that clip pkg shows--the ESPN'rs stopped mentioning the score toward the end of the clip. Other guys on the team played well in the that game, too. 28pts ain't that impressive, is it? This is DWade we're talking about, right? I don't really crow when an A lister scores 28. :dunno:

My final point: LeBron deserved more credit for the streak than DWade deserved.

I can't really see anybody other than Boston coming out of the East. Nobody really looks that good. Miami can't and won't beat Boston and unless Orlando gels and starts playing like the group of all stars they are, Boston will beat them handily.

In the West, Dallas chokes in the playoffs. It's sad but true. And when they don't choke, the refs take it from them. San Antonio is terrifyingly good. If the Lakers can't win it, I'd love to see Duncan go out on top with a great 7 game series against Boston. What a series that would be!! Duncan owns Garnett in the playoffs, but Shaq owns Duncan. Rondo against Parker. Defense against defense. Both teams can light it up from the 3. Damn.

You said "when will Wade show up?" and I'm giving you examples. You don't need to have 38 points to have an impressive night. Wade had a stretch in the streak when he scored 34 per game, but those were blowouts.

The same applies for Lebron. So what if he had monster nights in blowout wins. Everyone has done that this season. I'm not going to praise him for that.

My final point: LeBron deserved more credit for the streak than DWade deserved.

Why? :dunno:

But you seem to want to discredit Wade for his input. Explain why?

I'm hoping for the same kind of season with the Heat. I'd like to see big blowouts every night.

The big flaw for the Heat is their offense. They really have no post presence, so they tend to be limited on offense. Lebron and Bosh aren't traditional forwards and I think that hurts them at times.

It's quite a shame when a 6'3" shooting-guard is your best post player. So, when they play teams with a great interior defense, their going to struggle at times.
