Last year, the Raptors were 7-12. This year, without Chris Bosh, they are 8-11. Played a great game against OKC tonight, though of course they were without Durant. Bargnani looked good, Barbosa looked good, the fans were good and loud. They aren't going to be mistaken for the Lakers, but if they keep up the effort throughout the season they'll get back to the playoffs.

This makes me happy. Bosh is just a follower. I'm glad he's out of Toronto.

Lakers are putting a beatdown on Sacramento tonight. Too bad it's Sacramento. Either way, it looks like they've decided to stop trying to outscore their opponent and actually play some D to beat them.

The Heat have now won 6 straight.

The biggest difference from this team now is that they're moving the ball a lot better. It's no longer just an iso, LeBron do your thing, Wade do your thing. They're setting a lot more screens, and Wade and Bron are moving well without the ball.

Raptors lost a close one tonight. The Knicks were extremely lucky the last three-pointer went in. Almost couldn't believe it myself.

If there's any justice...San Antonio will find a way to win it all....Maybe that will stop Shaq from trying to catch Kobe in rings, piss in the faces of everyone who held the Heat coronation in the summer and stop the Lakers from 3 peating.

Give up my vote to Kobe for MVP. He was multi-teamed against the Nets and kept passing off for the assist. Oh...and LeBron still fucks sheep.

Derrick Rose is undoubtely the MVP to this point of the season. 25 ppg and 8 assists per... plus 41% from 3 pt range. His performance in the Laker game shows that he has indeed arrived at MVP discussion level.

I might be a bit biased as a Bulls Fan but I have to agree. He put so much work in over the summer to improve his jumpshot and that hard work is paying dividends. Teams can no longer give him that jumpshot like they used to his first two years in the league.

1 - Deron Williams
2 - Derrick Rose
3 - Dwight Howard
4 - Kevin Love
5 - Amare Stoudemire

I'll take it yet a step further...

Derrick Rose is also most improved player this year.

We are talking about a guy whose gone from 20 ppg to 25 and 6 to 8 apg. Not to mention, an incredible improvement from 26 to 41% from 3. He has hit more 3's this season than he has in his entire career. Who is more improved than D. Rose this season? Nobody.

What happened to Kevin Love? I never saw him being this good. Maybe it's just a one year thing who knows.:dunno:

The Minnesota Timberwolves happened. Their main scoring threat coming into this season was Michael fuckin' Beasley!!! Somebody has to score... somebody has to rebound all those bricks... why the hell is anyone suprised? He was the most highly-touted big man since his high school days and a lottery pick, playing for lottery bound Timberwolves team.

just watched the heat playing the hornets. great game winning streak continues. big three played a good game and the defense in the 4th was outstanding. by the way lebron hit the best shot of the season:D
