Hurray, Wade got injured.

Boo, Bosh looked good.

Well the Heat finally lost a game in pre season to the Spurs tonight. I'm celebrating with Lime Jello I made early during the day...

I'm an under dog kind of guy, so I'm gonna be cheering against the Heat so hard this season.

Go Raptors!

Err, no Wade, No Bosh, No LeBron = no win for Miami. How many times will the Heat put out a lineup without those 3 ? :nono: Maybe never.

Preseason don't mean jack.

Who needs these scrubs when you have a star in the making in B. Beverley. He is so good that he doesn't even have a profile page. LOL!

Someone explain to me how what LeBron did (sign with Miami) was different than AFraud signing with the Yankees?

For certain professional teams--it is the norm for them to BUY their way to titles. The Yankees, the Lakers of today, Real Madrid, Chelsea, the Redskins...The Celtics consolidated talent back in the day and won 10 championships...:dunno:

I think LeBron stepped over the line with "The Decision" announcement bullshit WHICH ESPN IS PART TO BLAME!

It boggles my mind all the HEAT that LeBron is STILL facing. :dunno:

I don't think the Heat will set the season record for wins...I bet they will win 68 and coast into the NBA Finals --assuming the Big 3 all remain healthy for the entire season.

The 2011 NBA Champions Miami Heat signed Jerry Stackhouse today

Sure, it's a mercenary signing, and, yes, he's way past his prime, but if he can come off the bench, drop a few 3s...:yesyes:

The Heat roster ain't that shabby peepul. They got a bench that looks pretty decent. The Big Z, Eddie House, Stackhouse....

Because of the fact that I'm a lifelong Lakers fan, I've always rooted for the Heat since Riley got there. Mourning is probably one of my top 5 favorite players of all time..Mason was awesome. Hardaway, Brian Grant and now Wade. The Winner Within is a great book. It came out when I was a senior in HS I think. 94.
With all that being said, there's no way they'd beat the Lakers in a 7 game series. Lakers would take it in 5 or 6. I doubt they'll get past a healthy Celtics team.

I know its a long season and all that business, but the Heat are looking like an undisciplined high school JV team. 15 points half-way through the 2nd quarter, shooting 6-30 from the field w/ 8 turnovers so far, getting run through by the Celtics, who aren't looking all that fantastic themselves.

Lakers 3-peat is looking like a pretty good bet an hour into the season :D

I thought the Heat played pretty impressive defense for a team that hadn't played a complete game together in the preseason. The Heat started off poorly but got stronger as the game wore on.

Once they jell...it's lights out Eastern Conference :thefinger

I thought the Celtics played very poorly too.

It's game 1 of the season. The Celtics are a Top 3 team in the East. It wasn't like this was the Warriors going up by 20 on the Heat.

I think 70 wins is a very achievable goal for the Heat this season. :yesyes:
